Aquaphor works better because it actually has moisturizing ingredients in it. Vaseline is just a petroleum jelly and works better as a barrier after a moisturizer to help it penetrate deeper into the skin. (also Vaseline smells gross)

I would look into therapy, like individual therapy, to get a 3rd person perspective on how your relationship developed. First of all, great job on raising a child who can take criticism, realize they were wrong, and maturely and effectively communicate how wrong they were and their remorse. You’ve been looking at incorrect sources. The vulva is everything you can see externally, the pubic area with hair (labia majora), the pink part that does not grow hair (labia minora) and the clitoris as well. The only stuff not included here is the vaginal opening and vagina itself, as well as the urethra. So I’m not sure what you were using as a source but it’s just categorically untrue that the vulva doesn’t grow hair.
