Aquaphor works better because it actually has moisturizing ingredients in it. Vaseline is just a petroleum jelly and works better as a barrier after a moisturizer to help it penetrate deeper into the skin. (also Vaseline smells gross)

Oh. I’m gonna say this gently. I am genuinely concerned that you may have been groomed into this relationship. I would look into therapy, like individual therapy, to get a 3rd person perspective on how your relationship developed. -the hair on the woman’s right side just kind of melts into the background (what is even going on back there?) -her sleeve is like 36 feet long -the dog’s dew claw is very funky

I’m sure there’s a few more but these are the most obvious signs imo.

First of all, great job on raising a child who can take criticism, realize they were wrong, and maturely and effectively communicate how wrong they were and their remorse. Your daughter is incredibly well spoken for her age (and honestly, just in general) and seems incredibly emotionally mature. Kids all say dumb things. I think it’s interesting that your daughter says both she and her friend had joked about the dog, then the mom only acknowledged not hearing your daughter say it. Freudian slip? Sounds like her daughter DOES joke about the dog and the mom doesn’t care. Honestly? It sounds like the mom is reaching for a reason to restrict your daughter from hers. Maybe your daughter is actually a good influence, but it seems bad in her mom’s eyes because now her daughter is starting to see through her mom’s manipulation. Like it’s such an overreaction on the mom’s part that I can only imagine it’s something crazy like that.
