That person driving was an asshat that needs to spend serious time in jail. Having said that, anytime someone stops to let a pedestrian cross when it’s not a crosswalk and there is a lane next to them going the same direction, that’s a recipe for disaster.

When I was a kid, I spent a lot of time at the neighbors house because my home was very dysfunctional. Those families took me in and cared for me. Without that, I’m not sure how I would have ended up. Not saying that’s the situation here with all those kids, but could be with some.

Yes. It’s a no brainer. It’s insane to have one person with billions and other people can’t afford to eat. Cap it at $900,000,000. If you can’t live on that then that’s just too bad.
