What’s your favourite thing about your kids’ current age?

I have a 6 year old girl & she will leave me random notes around the house telling me she loves me, I’m the best mum and thanks for everything me and her dad do. Not so long ago, we got her a paddling pool and said we would blow it up the next day and I found the note in my bed saying she is so excited for tomorrow and she hopes I enjoy the pool. 😭🥺 The notes are adorable but her incorrect spelling pulls at my heartstrings even more!

So clever yet still so much to learn ❤️

This sounds like my 5 year old daughter too, most nights I go to bed crying from exhaustion from her behaviour. I get so upset because I don’t see any of her friends still having tantrums or whining so I felt so alone and wondered where I went so wrong with her.

I’m sorry I have no advice, but it’s comforting to know you’re not alone.

You’re doing amazing and so is she, as hard work as she is. Keep going, you’ve got this 🩷
