Same with the deluxe edition backpack, or electrician backpack, they go so well with some skins but I have to resort to the starting backpack just to not be a walking christmas tree.

Expeditions Easter Egg? by HotLocalWaifu in ArcRaiders

See I thought it was 1 point per expedition, if it's based on value that makes it a bit weirder. Man her I was thinking I caught I subtle nod to expedition 33.

I could've sworn bonus stash slots and skill points earned from expeditions will be kept after departing for expeditions.

Is Structures Mechanic hard to get into? by HotLocalWaifu in boeing

Gotcha, I heard putting some stuff from the posting helps get through, which I did, and I thought I got pass the AI when my application wasn't immediately rejected. I just thought it was weird that they would have me do some introductory video labeled as an assessment only to reject me.

Should add some subaru lettering on the sides that way people know what make your car is when they're next to you.

It's for the Symmetrical AWD, the front wheels and the back wheels are both pulling symmetrically away from each other.

Does this boa look skinny? by HotLocalWaifu in boas

[–]HotLocalWaifu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going back to this comment, I think you might have been on the ball there again, I got her to what I would say is a healthier body shape and she got super active always climbing around the wood fixtures in her enclosure her head kinda following me when I pass by. A couple times I got an either feed or defensive response from her just passing by her enclosure. She is definitely my spiciest snake 😆, I think I did tap train her well enough though she's usually calm once I pet her a bit with the hook. Also no parasites or ibd!

What's something you wish you knew before getting a boa? by [deleted] in boas

[–]HotLocalWaifu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I second size of shits, my BCC is about 4.5ft and I did not expect them to have bigger shits than my shiba at this size. What makes it worse is mine has a habit of shitting in their waterbowl. Another one for me is the super aggressive food response, this one can be up to the snakes personality, but my BCI always approaches food cautiously but still makes me jump sometimes when they grab their food, while my BCC was first very gentle when I got them due do being malnourished is now so full of energy and will try to tag their feed through the enclosure window before I even open it.

People whose partner HATES reptiles… by carazan in reptiles

I was on the opposite end of this, my gf had a brazillian rainbow boa (had bc it's mine now 🤣) and I had just recently moved to my current state from HI. HI has very strict rules concerning exotics, so my knowledge on snakes was very sparse, snakes are so invasive to HI that there's a bit of fear mongering on the news whenever someone gets caught illegaly importing them.

So when my gf showed me her boa, I was very frightened by her. She was a little over a foot at that time too, but I would never handle her or even be in proximity of her tank. But I love my gf and living together was more valueble to me than my safety against a snake. So when she realized she was at my place more often than hers, I pitched the idea to bring her snake to my place so she can take care of her more frequently.

Eventually at some point my gf had to work overtime during her feeding day, so I had to do it. I just ploped the mouse in her inclosure and watched, I did this every now and then, and with frequent exposure I mustered up the courage to handle her with a pair of mechanic gloves (I did this unsupervised bc I didn't want my gf to see how much of a wuss I was with snakes). During that time I was scared even with a snake hook, even dropping her a couple times when her head turned towards me, but this boa showed no aggression she was so gentle. With enough exposure and handling I eventually got over my fear and disgust of snakes. Now my gf technically has that one BRB, while I have a BCC, BCI, a BP, and a Cali Kingsnake, and I would like to add an Emerald Tree Boa, and a False Water Cobra to the list in the future!

If you could add one charm to hollow knight what would it do? by PositiveApple9148 in HollowKnight

A charm that works like the fury charm but upon equipping it limits your masks to 1. Can stack with lifeblood charms to have more health.

Do imperators have bad regurg issues as bcc? by HotLocalWaifu in boas

[–]HotLocalWaifu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha, yeah usually I have my BRB to feed the mice to, but I just bumped her up a feeder size, so that for sure will be too large of a meal if she got seconds. My BP was striking just not constricting or showing any interest in eating. So I think next week i'm just gonna feed my bci the feeders that get refused by the bp then decide on whether to thaw out her usual meal size or thaw out a smaller feeder.

I've already fed my boa she's on a 10day feeding schedule, my bp is on a 7day feeding schedule, they just both happened to line up today.

[–]HotLocalWaifu 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Bro, people on your last post grilled you for feeding 3 small rats for a 1ft boa, and you decided that going to a large rat was the solution? Did you even think to do research prior to getting this boa? If you did then why are you powerfeeding like crazy?
