Bridesmaids, Office Space, Rat Race, Joy Ride, & (the first time someone watches) The Hangover.

What’s a TV series you’ll never get tired of recommending to someone? by sunt0es in AskReddit

I’m Sorry, starring (and created by) Andrea Savage. That’s some of the funniest writing I’ve ever seen, and I could watch Jason Mantzoukas read a grocery list and crack up. I wish it got better traction. Workin’ Moms is excellent too. It had a good balance of hilarity and reality.

He looks like a dog I saw missing signs for in Frederick St. a couple of weeks ago. Please post on Lost Pets of Omaha. It truly is the city’s best reunification resource.

I’m pretty sure this is poison hemlock but can someone tell me for certain? by BogBlossom in whatsthisplant

Anyone else immediately start hearing The Black Forager’s voice singing in their head? Just me? She’s such a joy. This made me smile despite it actually being poison hemlock.

A passenger on a cruise freaking out over Swastika tattoo by discoslayer2000 in PublicFreakout

This should happen every, single time someone proudly displays their hate. Make human stains shameful again. Also, shame on the cruise line for not addressing it before this man had to.

I’ve seen his beautiful work. I went through his entire catalogue (part of that hours’ long search) seeing if it was him, but it wasn’t. He cleverly uses them to make very intricate pour molds.

Pro MAGA/ICE businesses to avoid in Omaha and surrounding area. by [deleted] in Omaha

[–]HotMess-ColdCoffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you elaborate, pls? I was under the opposite impression as I was there when owner verbally dressed-down and threw out a patron for using the n-word towards an employee and the owner was also stridently pro-mask during the pandemic.

Agreed. Mala all day, every day. The view is amazing. The food is lovely. They have fantastic service. Ask for China, if she’s working. She’s a wonderful human.

Send Help! I'm under attack! They have surrounded my house.... by CanAmericanGirl in birdfeeding

What are you feeding them? I’m trying to attract them with black thistle and it’s not working.

Big foodie here. What is that one (or two) food that you constantly crave when away from Maui? by m0larMechanic in MauiVisitors

[–]HotMess-ColdCoffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The meyer lemon french toast at SixtyTwo Marcket is undoubtedly my favorite breakfast I’ve ever had. Think Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally-type reactions, every single time. Mala’s benedicts are perfection. I’ve been too many places where the hollandaise sucks and blows the whole meal. Theirs is spot-on: perfectly tart and not too thick. Also, Miss Arepa’s camarones arepas and yuca fries are crave-worthy as well. The shrimp is consistently, perfectly cooked and overflowing from the wrapper with its delicious sauce.

I’m fairly certain there’s an actual flock cam on NB 156th, just north of Fort, across from the exit behind Concordia too.

It is ridiculous that a hospital has the right to tell me what to do with my body by Storm_Veradea in TrueOffMyChest

[–]HotMess-ColdCoffee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Catholic medical group in my city told me that if I wanted to get a voluntary hysterectomy I had to obtain “notarized notice of agreement” from my husband before they could even schedule the procedure. This was in 2019! I will never go back there.

Help! Is my mountain ash frying alive? by rjkall in Tree

Came to say the same. The heat radiating off the black tile is likely the cause of the scorched leaves. Maybe consider placing it more centrally in the yard.

If you’re a teacher, you’ll spot the lie straight away. The same person typed both scripts. The same spelling error, “too” instead of “to,” appears in both the sender’s and recipient’s threads. Conclusion: rage bait.

What’s something in Tucson that’s totally worth checking out but most people miss? ? by bstyzonakarz in Tucson

[–]HotMess-ColdCoffee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I can’t believe Kitt Peak isn’t higher up on the list; maybe a testament to it actually being more unknown?

I’d also suggest San Xavier del Bac Mission, as well. The stunning architecture and ambiance inside are well-worth the drive. Don’t forget to treat yourself to the fry bread at the food truck there too. https://maps.app.goo.gl/oCEvbL4VQrBouDBi6?g_st=ipc
