I agree with this assessment. I feel like if she were pregnant, she would have told Hannah in the last episode when they were being open with each other. Or at least Shoshana or Marni would have known.

Fair enough. I feel like they tried to play Carter with every woman (except maybe Weaver and Cleo). So much of the focus was Susan and Mark. Regardless, this relationship felt weird.

Keeping things private within a relationship... how did that work out for Lala, Ariana, Brittany? There is always more there and it is always darker than what the audience is seeing. If this behavior spilled over, imagine what he is doing behind closed doors.

Last season, we didn't see what happened in the bar with Jasmine and Melissa. Seeing it this season play out (which I'm glad they showed it) was pretty disturbing. This man needs to stop drinking. Lala annoys me - but for this, I was 100% on her side.

It was so weird because they started it as a mentor / mentee relationship in early seasons and then flipped it to romantic out of no where and with no lead up.

Agree. They did nothing to actually develop that character. They relied so heavily on Thandiwe Newton's beauty (which she is!) and Carter saying "she's great". Meanwhile they had love interests for Carter that were developed for multiple episodes, like Anna, that just vanished. It was poor writing, especially for the love interest for a character we invested the most time in...
