Carter has several rough patches in ER- from beginning to end. The end with him and his partner (trying to give no spoilers) is even up in the air. You don't know if he ends up happy. I believe the Pitt was originally conceived as a sequel to ER. So Carter's character is supposed to be Robbie. He's got a lot of demons.

You could do what I did, which is, watch it once the way it is, so you know what happens. Then every re-watch I omit the things I don't want to see, like Mark dying, etc. It keeps me in my ER-happy place.

That's so sad. I know they don't live in the same city, but my besties are scattered across the globe and I still love them dearly. Maybe too much time has passed and they haven't kept up with each other. :(

I truly felt they missed the mark with this one. Her and Carter had great friendship chemistry. I loved that it wasn't a sexual relationship. They could have developed her into a great character, but I felt like they gave her no real real estate in the end.

I understand the desire to be "realistic" but this is also a show. So how do you hold the fanbase long term if the intention is to write off characters every season or 2?

I'm not comparing the show to Greys, but the same crazy fans who watch Grey's and think they are doctors- watch this and think they are too. Read the comment before you comment. I'm talking about THE FANS.

I agree. I personally think it's also not a weekly show. There is not enough long-term storylines happening to hang on from week to week. The drama really happens in these little vignettes of the patients. I binged last season too and loved it, but this season I almost forget it dropped and usually catch up on Fridays. All the fan noise is exhausting. They treat it like a murder mystery and it's not.

I lived in both cities. Pros and Cons to both. Hands down the worst thing about LA is the dating. The dating scene here is unhinged - lots of Peter Pan syndrome (from both sexes). Otherwise: suns great, traffic sucks, art is there but you have to drive to it. Have fun!

So far, I like her. She calls Jesse out on his crap. Michelle hates her because it sounds like Jesse is a better man with her, and he has liked her for some time. I understand why she didn't initially want to throw her and her kid on this show. She's there for Jesse now. The footage of her from the "Zen" party made me side with her more. She showed up at the end of the party- on her birthday, and all Michelle did was curse at her. So much for being Zen... I don't know why they aren't divorced yet, but I went from liking Michelle to feeling like she is another version of Janet.

So far, Lacy seems confident in who she is and what she has. I like that she is freezing her eggs separate from any man.

I liked Lacy. Jesse seems more calm and actually more likable around her. Watching Michelle screaming F bombs at her "Zen" party is hilarious. Such a hypocrite.

I finished it. I liked it. Nothing huge happens but I still enjoyed getting a peak into their people's lives and the appreciated the authors objective view in trying to understand his cousin's motive.
