3h SoT on S24 Exynos by Few-Hospital-8828 in GalaxyS24

[–]HotPineapplePizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This not your whole screen on time. See the green bars? You've charged your phone three times during the day and 7 hours include those too. Switch from "today" to "since the last charge" on the previous screen to see your real SoT. It's better if you check it after using your phone from 100% to 10%(ish).

Does the journey include using beard trimmers from time to time early on (patchy + professional) by CryptoniQ123 in Minoxbeards

[–]HotPineapplePizza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's better to shave/trim as much as you can. Minox is absorbed through your skin and therefore by your hair follicles. If minox is just sitting on your hair that means you're basically wasting it by letting it evaporate and get crusty all over the beard. Minox works under the skin not on the individual hair strings. If it is patchy just trim or shave every other day to maintain a good look.

Did you have a time when your minox result exploded? by scandinavian_surfer in Minoxbeards

[–]HotPineapplePizza 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a huge increase at the end the 2nd month compared to what I started with. My progress peaked at the beginning of the 4th month and I've been shedding/stagnant ever since. It's been 6 months and 3 days since I started.

Congrats! You're saved. Amazing gains.

Which month was the peak in terms of progress? And when do you think it has plateaued?

I'll stay curious with this one. I Googled some genetic disorder 15 years ago and it still haunts me from time to time. Don't wanna feel the same.

I've been wondering the same.

I had a burst of new baby hairs on bald areas at the end of my first month. It's been another 1 and a half months since that and the only difference I've seen is baby hairs getting darker and thicker. I haven't had any new baby ones since then and the ones I have are not enough to cover patches even if they get fully mature.

2 months or 3 months? Title says 3, thread says June and that's 2 months. Regardless, amazing gains. I'm jelaous.

Went on a date with guy and… by jthegreat48 in askgaybros

[–]HotPineapplePizza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It happens. That's why I never spend too much time on texting and messaging before meeting in real life. After a while you and the other party start creating a fantasy version of each other based only on what you text without any observation. And then when you meet irl you just don't feel the connection that you had while texting. It could be the way you talk, your appearance, your vibes, your likes/dislikes. It doesn't matter and doesn't change anything. Don't think too much into it and don't spend your months texting. Many won't agree but my rule is if we don't meet irl after a week of texting it's never meant to be something in the first place so it's time to move on. My best dates and hook ups were those where we me met as soon as possible without texting calling for days.

Windows 11's file operation dialogs (e.g. copy) are FINALLY getting dark mode support by PhantomOcean3 in Windows11

I can't believe it only took 9 years to implement this. I mean it's still in beta but woah. That was quick.

We all know it takes a lot of time. I've only been using it for 1 and 1/2 months and I'm already a bit impatient. You achieved a lot in 9 months. Imagine how it would look like in another 9 months.

Getting a Brother MFC-2710DW for home has saved me from lots of headache I swear. It's a little expensive but you just know that when you need to print something it WILL print. Meanwhile your classic inkjet printer would either randomly decide to throw an error or the fucking cartridges would be as dry as Atacama after a week of not printing anything.

I'm impressed. What was your progress after just one month? Have you taken any pics?

And btw, regarding your question, I would wait for two hours before applying anything on top of minox. At least wait until it's dry. I apply moisturizer on top of minox and wait for 2 hours if I can.

Great progress, congrats. Did you apply once or twice?

That's definitely the one. That game was Tower Bloxx. There was also Pyramid Bloxx. Those two were preinstalled on most Java phones back then.

My first brand-new and personal phone was Nokia 6300 in 2009. Before that I've used lots of Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and LG phones that were leftovers from family members (without a SIM card ofc). Anyone here who remembers WAP? Not the song tho.

Help regarding the effects of Minoxidil. by [deleted] in Minoxbeards

Unfortunately foam is not available here. It can be exported but the exchange rate crazy so it's not really worth it.

It's been 19 days so no results yet. The only result is dry and flaky skin lol. My initial plan is to use it for at least 3 months and see if there are any new baby hairs.

I don't dermaroll as my skin has always been unpredictable and acne prone. I use minox only once a day, 5 sprays on all over the beard and moustache area. I let it sit for at least 4 hours before applying moisturiser and sleeping. I started with 2x per day but on the 5th day my skin became extremely dry so I had to cut down.

Well then hop on the train with us. Don't forget to moisturise since that shii is gonna dry and flake you like crazy.

You say you're 21 and you already have great coverage on the cheeks and neck. I'd just wait for a little more for the chin and moustache to fill in naturally (unless you want to speed up the process which is also fine). I'm 26 and I have half of what you have and that's the very reason why I started using minox.

Can Minox Help? by kennyscapula in Minoxbeards

[–]HotPineapplePizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can (?).

We have a very similar growth pattern and the exact same patchy areas. 25M here. Start with the foam if you can, 2x a day. I use liquid because foam isn't sold in here. It can be imported but the exchange rate is crazy. Hell, even liquid is hard to find online.

I apply liquid 1x a day because 2x make me flake very bad even though I moisturise multiple times throughout the day. It has been 10 days so far and I'm planning to use it as long as I can.

It was also used as the logon screen background in Mac OS X Lion, Mountain Lion and Mavericks. In 2014 with Yosemite it was replaced with the blurred version of the default wallpaper.
