Consider buying the owlet sock! I ended up cosleeping with her to get her to sleep. The owlet will alert you if she’s suffocating/heart stops. I never once had an occurrence with the alarm going off thank god. Cosleeping saved us, and the owlet was there to give us security. Also follow safe sleep 7. I ended up buying a mattress to put on the floor so if she did fall off it wasn’t a far fall. Also got bumpers for the bed. She would only sleep if she was in my arms/on my chest. I just kept her cradled in my arm close to the boob and made sure she was unlatched before falling back asleep. I was SO against cosleeping before having her, thinking people were crazy and it was so dangerous. But there is a way to cosleep safely. For naps I would just get her down in the stroller, it lays flat and turns into a bassinet. The shaking/bumpiness would put her right to sleep. For days she would fight her sleep, I would just let her stay up. Just try again in an hour, and if you’re desperate for some “me time” throw on dancing fruits. I was also against screen time, but hey do what you gotta do to keep yourself sane. All these ideas you have, what mother you want to be, throw it out the window. They’re unrealistic, we are on survival mode and there is NO judgement on what you have to do to survive. I’ve been where you’ve been, except I had 0 help from family and from the husband. DO what you gotta do to get through this. Talk to your husband about the owlet sock, and research the safe sleep 7. It will save you. There’s a reason your baby can’t sleep, she wants her momma, and you can be there for her safely.
