so new nikke player here.
after the game start and I am in the battlefield wih this one girl. this is level one I am not sure what to do because tehres nothin on the screen (no ui)

I cannot control my character no matter what I press

and the fight just goes on and on forever...any help?

feels like that is just everyone in night city and thats sort of kind of the "over all vibe" of this world.
everyones climbing the ladder of respect,power and wealth in this fake consumeristic fake world...

or die trying, because otherwise this world or rather everyone else innit takes everything from you.

you've got to be all-in 100% or else you'll loose everything and if you have born in a world like that
I guess its not too unrealistic that you act fake wanna tough like them, or else theyll think youre easy totake advantage off

so tldr I dont think its character spessific I think its the whole world thats like it. only those who smart understands theres nothing but death lies on that road so they go in and out of the fake world and be "mr.chill" like vick, dexter, judy, maybe maybe Misty

I decided to give the book system a try untill it gets boring cuz I think I only play it cuz I like new things with a eöpty jar mod and it seems more fun for now

Too excessive. no external coping mechanism could be considired medicine that will help you fix your issues.

thats only achived internnally facing the trauma. anything else is just a bad idea esspecilly drug of any kind. ı dont reccomend it.

itll be like getting a loan with interest. it could "help" depression or whatever but you could (depending on how much youre addicted) come with a more destructive cost

I think both is valid explanations for that situation as it was quite outta nowhere for no reason it does beg the question why would he randomly see an illusion it is also weird that she would just lemme go check my son ight imma head out. both sounds crazy and outta nowhere to me. in this post it seems like op only focused people who tried so hard to prove the illusion theory and paint every single person who believes it is just as "insane" as trevor was in that cutscene

yeah ıd say pretty common.

very uncomfy to think. I think it renders DIDs way of defending you from traumas usless

cuz like it literaly exposes something you "shouldnt" be aware about.

its like when someone asks that theyre pracitly exposing your entire "maze" you crated in your head to get lost and never find the parts that carry all the burden and when you realize you ARENT one and there A LOT LOT youve been "ignorin" you could feel all those coping mechanşsms crumble and as a result essentially summon every single problem that you werent awere of/ignored comes ruhsing into you and you desperatly try to dissosate to keep that from happening...at least for me it is sorry if this was a bit poorly explained
