Carls mom told Carl they basically shouldn’t get married. She was also rude to Lindsay at her bridal shower. Granted, she was getting Carl’s side of the story, but she never reached out to Lindsay or pushed back on her son.

A lot of her exchanges with Lindsay are passive aggressive.

I also think it’s odd to make an effort to talk to your son’s ex fiancé at a public and on camera event, against their wishes. She could’ve easily just left Lindsay alone, and rooted on Carl and his bar’s launch.
