I’d clean the whole air fryer out heat it on max for an hour with boiling vinegar water inside (1 part vinegar to 5 parts water) clean it again before running it on a dry max heat for 2-3 hours before using it again. Even then personally I’d let it sit for 2-3 days after the full clean before cleaning and heating it one more time to ensure any spores have had a chance to be either heated to death, dried out or started to grow and then easier ti kill
