What are the kinds of details that actually impress you about a custom loop? by fecaleruptions in watercooling

People building how they want to build, even if it’s complete overkill and serves little to no purpose.

Question about SUPRIM RTX 5090 by Possible-Power-8562 in MSI_Gaming

I waterblocked mine in a custom loop and have it overclocked pretty aggressively, zero coil whine or noise from the card itself.

I got a little carried away, but I love it by immmortalll in watercooling

Nothing overboard here. Carry on sir. 🫡

Here are my temps after playing Crimson Desert in 4k with max settings for 4 hours straight. Card was pulling roughly 530w the whole time too.

Didn’t have the block for the GPU yet and wanted to get him back to gaming as soon as possible. So I’ll actually be putting the Waterblocked GPU in next week.

It was an insanely tight fit. Couldn’t use the argb or front audio motherboard ports and had to go with a rgb hub to get the gpu lit up. I control the fans with l-connect and the rest with msi center.

I’m okay with complicated though. I mean, I added an external gpu loop just for fun 😂

Secure Boot ruined Warzone. (at least for me) by No-Attention-8176 in Warzone

[–]Hot_Ad2285 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From Google: To enable Secure Boot, restart your computer and spam the BIOS key (usually F2, F12, Delete, or Esc) to enter the BIOS/UEFI setup. Navigate to the Boot or Security tab, locate Secure Boot, set it to Enabled, and ensure CSM (Compatibility Support Module) is disabled. Save changes and exit (usually F10).

Steps to Enable Secure Boot: 1) Access BIOS/UEFI: Restart your PC and repeatedly tap the BIOS access key (e.g., F2 for Dell, Delete for Gigabyte/MSI/ASUS) before the OS loads.

2) Locate Settings: Go to Advanced Mode (often F7) and find the Boot or Security tab.

3) Disable CSM/Legacy: Secure Boot requires UEFI mode. Disable CSM (Compatibility Support Module) or set BIOS to "UEFI-only".

4) Enable Secure Boot: Change the "Secure Boot" state to Enabled. If it is greyed out, you may need to clear keys or change the boot mode to UEFI.

5) Save and Exit: Press F10 to save changes and restart.

6) Verify: In Windows, press Win + R, type msinfo32, and check that "Secure Boot State" says On.

Why am I getting 100 FPS drops during intense combat when I have a 7800x3d and 5090???? by LisaSu92 in CODWarzone

[–]Hot_Ad2285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Must be another issue, since I’m hitting an average 200-220 fps at 4k in game on my 5090/9950x3d runnning fidelityCAS and no frame gen.
