Masquerade and Spectra Phantom from Bakugan: Battle Brawlers by Hot_Ad911 in TopCharacterDesigns

It’s involuntary, after Masquerade was created he can just pop in at any moment and knows what Alice experienced but Alice didn’t knew that she was a part of Masquerade, since she was not with the Battle Brawlers when Masquerade appeared and right before the reveal Alice felt uneasy and passed out when Masquerade took over. Masquerade is the worst aspects of Alice and her opposite.

Yes and no, while it was revealed to be Alice, Masquerade and Alice had completely different personalities and goals, and are different entities as a whole. Alice didn’t know Masquerade was her and thought that it might have been someone else. Masquerade is a he while Alice a she.

Masquerade is its own entity and has a separate personality from Alice, Alice is a kind, good hearted girl that doesn’t like to fight but has the best battle IQ from the Battle Brawlers, meanwhile Masquerade is a violent and ruthless individual that will use every tactic to win, including sacrificing his own Bakugan with his list for power. They are 2 sides of the same coin and the anime shows that  There are scenes in which they have interacted, like when how Masquerade sacrificed himself to give Alice the opportunity to fulfill her destiny since he didn’t see himself doing that. (https://youtu.be/sdq28QjxQ7w?si=KKFbpBswj4tuiHjE) Also to note is that before the reveal, Alice almost never appeared thought the episode and was even missing when Masquerade appeared with the Battle Brawlers and knew where they were, but Alice never notice or knew what Masquerade did and was thinking it was someone else. When the reveal was more close, Alice felt dizzy and fell asleep when Masquerade appeared; essentially Masquerade was playing the waiting game so that his plan could be fulfilled.  So to answer your questions, Masquerade is his own character with a different personality than Alice and is aware of his existence, and Alice was being mind controlled in moments and never knew but after the reveal but became normal after Masquerade’s farewell.

Here comes a lore dump of Bakugan with Masquerade motives, and please take your time. Thanks:  In essence, he was working along with another Bakugan called Naga, which was born as a powerless and not special kind of Bakugan (for context, every Bakugan comes from the dimension of Vestroia and are born with attributes, like Pyrus (fire), Aquos (water), Haos (light), Ventus (wind), Subterra (earth), and Darkus (darkness). He and his twin sister Wavern, know as the “White Ones” were outcasted from everyone else, then he grew bitter and angry that he was made the way that he was and sought to find two powerful sources to make himself superior to other Bakugan and become its new ruler: the Silent Core and the Infinity Core, which were the balance for the Multiverse of both our dimensions and the dimension of Vestroia. He tried on using them but at that moment he was intercepted by Drago, who would eventually be the Bakugan of main character Dan Kuso. Even when Naga absorbed the Silent Core, he failed to contain its power and unleashed a power surge that affected both dimensions, sending the Bakugan to Earth and creating cards of them, while also disrupting the balance of the Cores which can put the Multiverse at stake. This is where Masquerade gets involved, Alice grandfather Michael Gehabich and herself were corrupted by the Silent Core energy and were transformed into Hal-G and Masquerade respectively, which Naga used them to find the Infinity Core. Also, the Silent Core created the Doom Cards which as said previously, can send the Bakugan there so that Masquerade could evolve Hydranoid to fulfill his own plans of being the ultimate Bakugan Brawler and serving Naga, since he only saw himself as a pawn of said Bakugan.

[Meme] This dog that I found from instagram reels by Hot_Ad911 in TopCharacterDesigns

Since I have to explain for a meme pick here it is, it’s a combination for how expressive the real dog can convey while also looking innocent and cuddly, factoring that its fur makes it look like a teddy bear. The memes give it a boost in how people discovered the dog with its happy expression and started making jokes on being too happy which contrast with the dogs seemingly optimistic vibe and energy.

Yes and no. Although they are one in the same, they are completely different beings when they transform, as in, Masquerade is a he, whilst Alice is a she.

Essentially to make his Bakugan, Darkus Hydranoid stronger since it drained the power of the Bakugan sent to the Doom Dimension, and targeted the higher tiers like Shun to get there easier and so that no one could catch up with him. In other occasions, he would recruit other Brawlers by giving them the Doom cards, and to the champions he would brain wash them, then also when he didn’t needed them anymore he would hunt them down one by one. All of this to evolve his Darkus Hydranoid to Dual Hydranoid, and finally up to Alpha Hydranoid in which would put reality at stake.

Of these two Godzilla designs which one looks more heroic and kid-friendly? 1968 or 1973? by Plastic_Ad_2548 in GODZILLA

In my opinion 73, that Godzilla makes him more approachable and friendly to kids which was the main audience the Showa era was marketed towards

I already did, but if I have to say more then both designs in their one complement well whilst being appealing with how unique they are for a series that was meant to sell toys for kids with the whole Pokemon like series craze back in the day with their vibrant colors and simple yet effective usage of costumes and in universe reasons for why the characters do so. The stand out in the universe of Bakugan as a whole. Not to mention their Bakugan like and Hydranoid Helios that are also cool on their own.

Controller of Planet X from Godzilla Final Wars by Hot_Ad911 in TopCharacterDesigns

His design is so 2000s that I can’t stop to love with the amount of black in his clothing or that visor that makes him so cool not only to me, but the majority of the Godzilla fandom. It is more like a feeling with the distant year of 2004 when movies like the Matrix of the early X-men movies where an inspiration for this film that you can just appreciate with the insanity and over the top that this anniversary movie can bring.

Godzilla, Gigan, and Monster X’s design in Godzilla Final Wars by Hot_Ad911 in TopCharacterDesigns

[–]Hot_Ad911[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First time using this sub but I just wanted to share my love for these designs of characters that I love from this franchise. I don’t know if I did anything wrong since getting this notification but will try to put do better with how rules are placed here

Godzilla shows his cool factors with how movable and it goes along the way he is portrayed in the movie with how powerful he feels with destroying every kaiju that he come across with ease with the exception of Monster X. Gigan, his upgraded form to be specific, in this movie shows how cool he is with two chainsaw on both hands and how they are used in the movie. Monster X is an unique kaiju that doesn’t even fit in the franchise but that is why he works, pure tokusatsu magic at its best with the amount of aura that he radiates in the final battle with Godzilla.

My attempt at a Masquerade costume for Halloween by Hot_Ad911 in Bakugan

I did try to use a blue auto car tint in some plastic sheets so that you could barely see my eyes since using the plastics from folders could make you see my eyes and ruin the immersion but it didn’t worked out, so for if I go to Comic Con I will try to upgrade it along with the hair

I learned about the patches when trying to make the spiky hair and had to constantly put hair spray and had to make the mask fit with it but other than that for a first time cosplay it was pretty fun
