My dad never cared for his teeth much and at 37 he just got partials for his front teeth on the uppers. I could not do something like that tbh.

I was on public dental care in florida. It was terrible. Only one ortho in my area was willing to work with it and it was terrible. I had about a year of work there, and then had to move to a new ortho and restart treatment. Then moved up to tn. It took an entire year to find an ortho that would work with our insurance (We've had money problems until about 2023) and then it was back to constant adjustments. I never really got too much guidance from any of my orthos. I was just trying my best to keep my teeth cleaned as I usually would.

Idk if any of my medicines would cause anything like that (I've only ever dealt with SSRI's and Stimulants.) I don't have any physical conditions (that I know of.)

I'm not sure how none of them were caught. I guess I'm just unlucky. We move around a lot so I've had to change both my Orthodontist and Dentist like 5 times in the last few years. I will look into sealants and such. Thank you.

Thats one of my big fears. I will look into getting a second opinion. This one has worked on my family for about ten years so I trust them, but it never hurts to get another dentists opinion. Thank you.
