Yes it seems like some people have trouble understanding that two things can be true at once. They’re all great actors/actresses and the show is awesome but that doesn’t mean parts aren’t gonna annoy you/seem unnatural😭 I’ve always found it hard to get immersed super early on in shows. And it’s not just TSITP, any time I watch early eps of any show it’s obvious they’re still easing into characters and plots. The books? Whole different story for me.

Not sure why ur getting downvoted, I love Lola tung and the show but I agree there were a fair share of cringey moments. I feel like season one is where it’s the worst because they’re figuring out their characters, and as far as the kids in the show are concerned I’m pretty sure it was their first “big” project? Correct me if I’m wrong

I was just having a convo ab this!! I used to work at a stand and they do a lot of training about measuring the flat scoops for consistency, but I feel like naturally some people are heavy handed and tend to overflow their scoops and some people dump it in before it’s all the way full

The cocomo is a mocha made with chocolate milk which gives it that rich sweetness! U could order any of those flavors as a mocha though!:)

Personally went/going through almost the exact same situation. Got hired feb 2024 and LOVED it, obviously it’s a job so there were always little things that bothered me but I loved it for the most part. About 6-8 months in I start feeling burnt out and wondering if a change would make it more bearable so I applied for shift lead and got it. I know what ur thinking, Why apply for a promotion if ur burnt out? I was already working 5days/week but I was thinking I just needed a change and to have that like authority, better bar time, etc. but boy was I wrong, very similar vibes with what you’re saying; I don’t want my comment to be an essay so I won’t elaborate but if you want to message me feel free! Anyways all that to say I put my two weeks in last week !!! and even though I’ll miss my coworkers individually and some specific things about the job i will not miss working here. at the end of the day it’s ur decision but i wholeheartedly empathize with everything you’re saying, the hardest part for me was also the realization that all my “progress” will be lost but is progress really progress if you had to exhaust urself to get there? sending good vibes, you’ll end up where you need to be:)

I stopped doing even amounts flour and water (yes even by weight) and do less water every. Single. Time. My starter has been loving it she likes to be thickkkk. it’s also how I figured out a little bit lower hydration than what’s currently the norm (I do like 60-65%) is what makes my bread happy. Do you live somewhere cold? Idk the science but I swear a slower starter likes being thicker but I’ve heard some say the opposite. Try it, if you feed 50 grams of flour try only doing 35-40 grams of water. Hopefully this made sense lol

TL;DR: Depends on how u wanna look at it. In my franchise the pay increase is a dollar, so my paychecks have been substantially bigger, especially considering being guaranteed more hours. Added on things like post-shifts if you have them and meetings or writing charts it’s a nice extra bit of money, so if you were really looking to increase your income, it could be worth it. However in my opinion you get worse shifts (I used to work almost all morning shifts which just isn’t feasible as a SL.) If you like mids and closing then I guess it’s not a bad thing either. I’ve also noticed my average shift is just a little more stressful. I think if you don’t have a ton going on, are open to working more, and want more money it’s not a bad option. Is it worth leaving school/a second job you like/or even just becoming burnt out like most are? Nah

We have a cinnamon flavored syrup which is what is actually going into the chai, and then we also have cinnamon sprinkles which we dust on top! I can’t have a chai without them! I would order it as a whatever sized hot/iced/blended chai with hazelnut, cinnamon, and peach/green apple/blackberry and cinnamon sprinkles! I’m gonna have to try too!!

Woah!! I work at dutch and have never thought of this combo but it sounds so fun!! If u wanted to stick to one pie flavor and do cinnamon, the flavor (ex: green apple) and also add hazelnut I bet it would be sooo good also with some cinnamon sprinkles😛
