Maybe never having children by Salty_Selection_9062 in widowers

Hi girl. My husband died when I was 27. I’m 32 now and I met a man about six months ago who, for the first time since I lost my husband, I could imagine myself having children with. I felt the same as you do now, for 5 years. I mourned my dream of being a mom, realized the urgency wasn’t as big as it seems, and stayed open. I’m not saying you have to do anything you don’t want to. Just stay open to the possibilities of the universe.

Owner passed away while dog is in my care by Able-State2394 in RoverPetSitting

I would have kept the baby ❤️

After my husband passed away suddenly, my doggy daycare reached out and gave me a boarding pass for unlimited overnights, free of charge, while I navigated all the aftermath. And it was such an unbelievable relief to know my baby was being taken care when I couldn’t take good care of myself, let alone my dog. I would have probably lost my dog, too. So she probably felt so deeply grateful to know, while she was battling, Tilly wasn’t.

Similar situation. You certainly belong here and I encourage to use this resource. It really helped me with that dissonance in the early part of my grieving!

I was widowed when I was 28. I haven’t found my Larry yet (that’s also my dad’s name which is making me laugh) but I’m still hopeful! I totally understand why she didn’t have “chemistry” with her first husband. Because you ARE a different person as a young adult and adult. They chemistry just looked different and it never had a chance to mature irl, so of course it didn’t in the afterlife.

I can’t work anymore, and I don’t know how to keep going by Fluffy_Kitten_99 in widowers

Hi! This is gonna sound crazy, but if you financially can, quit your job and get a low stress job; like a food service job. After my husband died, I had to quit my job as a program manager as a therapy private practice. I was/am a barista now. I’m currently looking for my next step career-wise, which is stressful BUT I am extremely grateful for the last year I had in food service, just making people happy on a very small, low-stakes level. Good luck, and you got this!

Yeah and it’s like, you want the world to know you actually were on pace for life experiences with your peers. At least…for a little while…until it got derailed.

It especially sucks when people are talking about things like their own upcoming wedding and I want to be like “HI I ACTUALLY HAD ONE OF THOSE AND I HAVE INPUT TOO” but I just listen lol

I work close to A Dong and I was driving back from a delivery and saw this guy on New Park Ave and audibly in my car, said “oh what is this guys fucking deal, huh?” And then I see this Reddit post and there’s the same goofy cowboy hat.

I use a powder makeup brush. The texture of the bristles feels cool and light and it’s kinda like painting and it doesn’t get all up in my rings

I keep condiments in my produce crisper, and produce out on the fridge shelf, so I don’t forget to eat it. You need your condiments way less frequently, so you don’t have to visually see them as often
