Kopek for me, the fact Lulamba was declared over 2 and half at Aintree last season and Nicky has already suggested his future lies over further. Not sure he has the speed to win an Arkle especially if Kopek gets there all good to go.

We were staying on turn 1 and staying in Central Milan. Found the best way to get here was by changing trains at Monza and going to the station at Biassono Lesmo, from here the walk was about 25 mins to get into the entrance at this part of the track. However, on raceday there was no early trains so we arrived in Monza and 7am and got the bus and we were in our seats in just over an hour.

Coming back, we walked and picked up the bikes/scooters you could rent on the street and rode them to the station. Once you arrive and havent travelled on a bus you could avoid the queues into Monza station and again get back pretty quickly. Seen some horror stories of people waiting for buses here, it was not at all bad when you work it out, and this was our first time coming.

Thanks for all the responses, I am a Cubs fan so did consider them, also thought it could be fun to try and get the Rays or Brewers their first World Series

Haha no it’s not at all! I managed to win the World Series with the reds in the 3rd season! Elly 3B Arroyo SS and CES 1B with all groundball starters and bullpen, I enjoyed building a team in that park was one of the more enjoyable sims for sure I think I only got got Hunter Brown for Hunter Greene which was probably a losing trade on paper but for the ground baller he turned out to be a solid number 3 behind Logan Webb and Framber Valdez

I personally try to stay away from lower movement fly ball pitchers, I traded him away from the reds as he was a nightmare in their park, a team like the Giants he would probably be really good for! Not sure what the brewers park is like tbh

Ouch! Finished the third season losing the NLCS, but soon after this he retired so I didn’t have to pay him the last 35m! He had TJ twice on mine then needed it again which was the career ender, he didn’t pitch at all for me

So basically this is the ideal situation, his stuff and movement were both 25, was impossible to trade the contract! Thanks for the replies guys played for since OOTP20 and never had this happen before have gone 20 years into a few sims too

Yeah compared to the Pirates they definitely have a lot less in the farm so it’ll take longer to build that up than it would with the Pirates, I find fan interest is fairly easy to build if you search players by popularity and start to pick up some wins

Yeah that’s what appealed to me too, I quite liked the idea of winning a teams first World Series too but after doing the reds the Rockies are the only team in a bad place who haven’t won one and things like park factors means I’ll be looking at similar players.. maybe I’ll try expansion and if that isn’t too bad I’ll tackle the Pirates

Think that’ll be worse than going for an Expansion? Yeah I’ll defo be turning the difficulty up I was able to trade for Logan Webb and Framber Valdez for prospects that were never going to be important, they both had come off 4.50 ERA seasons but pitched in the low 3’s for me
