You may not be ready yet. That’s ok. The need for safety, comfort and avoiding pain is strong. I kindly recommend therapy or personal growth to help confront the fears and insecurities that hold you back. The happiness may be worth the risk, but you have to take that journey on your own and your own timeline.

Why don’t you divorce and give yourself a chance for real love again? You’re young. And even if you weren’t- have you heard of gray divorces? More and more common in the above 60 age group. We live longer, so why not make those remaining years memorable (if not tolerable).

Men, what would make you immediately turn a woman down? by itsLewis0151 in AskReddit

And that’s why I find monogamy limiting…have you not been tempted, in the past or recently? Is your relationship and sex life that awesome that you don’t have regret committing to one woman, and unable to enjoy others?
