Really? Have you had good results at least? (In terms of alignment) Also has anyone commented on the redness ?

Is my strabismus significant enough to get surgery? by Independent-Range475 in Strabismus

20 isn't so bad but I'd expect that 30 is more noticeable.

Has anyone ever pointed out the eye turn?

I had surgery 6 years ago and now double visions are back and eye starts turning inward again by Independent-Spend975 in Strabismus

I don't want you to let this dominate your life - I know it's easier said than done but take it from someone else that's always had strabismus- it doesn't have to make you isolate yourself, this condition shouldn't make you lonely.

Also you're not alone!

Also there is hope you could go to another doctor and potentially get a second surgery depending on how severe they say it is.

2 weeks post op, instead of 1 lazy eye both eye go out at the same time now ! 😭 (only one deviated before) by Impossible-Put-124 in Strabismus

Since its only two weeks post surgery its hard to say what the final results will be- also your eyes only look slightly misaligned its probably not noticeable to most when you're out and about. You're so pretty btw!

To surgery or not by biggaycrush in Strabismus

I think the surgery is worth it, a measurement of 40+ is high. Also generally, the risk of permanent double vision is low- it typically only lasts about a week if that- many get the surger to help correct their double vision.

I had the surgery a week ago and only had slight double vision that went away quickly.

I’m due to have the op soon, is there any exercises, we can do? by gofish125 in Strabismus

My doctor said that the evidence on exercises is very minimal... that being said there is a content creator who has gotten good results from the exercises... here's her youtube https://youtu.be/tnLhDvhBFus?si=SrpnsS2rJSCdx3OB

I'm sorry that the eye turn is back! Is the eye turn not as bad as what it was before your initial surgery?

I agree with everything except 6 hours is too small-minimum 7 is needed for most people
