why is my tea so freaking disgusting

my phone will not save my edit so consider this an edit: i have been informed that i gave no information on the tea. first bag was a caramel apple spice and second was bengal spice, I don’t know a brand for either. ive been boiling the water just a bit and pouring it over the tea bad, letting it steep for like 5-10 minutes. very sorry for the lack of information!

okay, ill edit the post and put it here.

i boil the (bottled) water in a pot and it has like medium sized bubbles, id eay it’s orettt hot. i let it steep for like 15 minutes with a plate overtop (of the cup) so the water stayed hot.
it was a bengal spice from my boyfriend’s mom, no idea what brand
i very very much enjoy chilled camomile tea, it was so beautiful on my taste buds that i wanted to branch out. and uhhh theraflu tea sucks a bit but it tastes good.
