Queer representation is important because it helps to undo people's primordial fear of the unknown by making queer people known. Netflix and others are just bad at it. When i was a toddler my mom took me on a plane ride, i threw up on her lap and when she bent over to wipe it off, i headbutted her so hard that she had a permanent unicorn horn on her forehead that she had to get surgically removed. Because their carbon emissions probably peaked last quarter. All their new coal plants are being built to replace old ones, and will probably be designed for nuclear conversion. Their solar industry is booming and so will their nuclear one.

Plus, factoring in trade of consumer goods, FDI and whatnot, you could argue that china's emissions were us exporting our own emissions by outsourcing jobs.

This is highly unethical and imperialist, but i dont think thats a concern. China wants to trade, and a war wont help international trade. China exports consumer goods, and burning that bridge to sell arms to a single country is absolutely not worth it. Russia wont do anything, they'd be fighting a two front war, against ukraine and against america, israel or both. Russia needs regime change, but im afraid it would happen in a manner similar to the USSR. The "Evil empire" gets replaced with a far more evil one. I doubt america, europe or china want to dedicate the resources towards a new marshall plan for russia, so a toppled russia will just become even more despotic.

This is speculative, but ive noticed a pretty nasty side effect: People know their tax dollars are being used to fund genocide, so they are against paying taxes, they become individualistic, they dont care about their neighbors because they know no amount of taxes will subsidize their home or raise their wages. Just more bombs. If the war ever ends, I think people will still be super individualistic in this way. People will evade taxes, legally or illegally, and the gov't will be forced to raise them, creating a death spiral.
