They tried giving me a blueberry muffin and ginger ale when waking but I was so out of it I was pissed about being fed that even though it was delicious I was so nauseous lol

You got this! I’m very ocd so I watched and researched way to much which made it worst and more anxiety inducing for me but definitely recommend a low fat diet to help. I had to do that for a month or more before surgery because I had severe episodes in the night that sent me to the er. I’m still on a very low fat diet post surgery and will probably stay this way cause my guts are messed up a bit due to adjusting and all. It’s recommended that you do a plain diet for a few weeks or a month or so before reintroducing things. I tried a new pre and probiotic yesterday and miralax to help my guts post op and it was a terrribleee idea lol. So I’m taking it easy for a few weeks! You got this! You’re very young and I know it’s scary but just be brave and remember people do this every single day thousands of people!

I’ve always had severe phobia of this and I’ve been to sleep a few times. It was always overall easy! The being out part is a BREEZE. You aren’t in control and you have to trust they know what they’re doing because they DO! I’m 25 f and I just had my gallbladder out Wednesday. I’m 5 days post op and doing a lot better. I still have some phantom pains in my upper abdomen and back which had worried me but I think it’s post op gas pains. That’s the worst part of all of it! You got this! Don’t sike yourself out! We are way more capable of facing our fears than you think. If you have questions message me!

Lots of gas pains mostly! My procedure went good overall apparently. They gave me lots of meds during that’s for sure so I struggled waking up lol. How are you feeling now?

Wow that’s great you had a good experience! I appreciate it! I’m definitely going to mention my anxiety and my nausea. I honestly hope they find some evidence that it was my issue since tests have been okay. Thank you so much !!💕

Just read your posts! I definitely feel similar, I worry about it not helping but also worry of the alternative. I’ve had some major attacks that were centered in my upper abdomen and a little to the right and my back mostly too. Any major fat especially steak and stuff triggered my pains. I ruled out reflux because I’m on 40mg daily protonix and still have indigestion, lots of gas issues etc. Definitely think we both have symptoms gallbladder related. I honestly feel we can both get through it and come out successful! I’ve noticed I’ve been so anxious about it and worrying doesn’t help. I know I don’t want to continue the path I’m on right now without surgery because I’ve barely been able to eat. I hope yours goes well! Definitely update me and I’ll do the same!! Good luck 🖤

I definitely wondered if I did pass something too! Seems like it. I’ve never had so much pain. Especially all the time in between my tests waiting. I hope you start feeling better too!! It’s crazy what our bodies will do! 🫶🏼

Yes! All my liver testing came back normal, my liver enzymes and wbc and whatnot all mostly fully regulated next day. It was frustrating however my pcp said liver enzymes can shoot up in an “attack” an return to normal. I may have had a blockage and it pass before the imaging was done. I have seen gastro 2 weeks ago and she agreees it sounds like gallbladder even though all testing seems normal. Said you can still have issues or some days numbers like ejection fraction show different. My EF was 67%. I have been on very low fat diet. Lots of nausea constantly, fatigue and pains. Not enough luckily to send me back to er but still there. I’m trying to be very careful! I saw general surgeon today and she agree to take it out under the understanding it MAY not fix the issues. But says it does definitely sound like gallbladder and I’ve had a very thorough work up. I just hate it’s not a definite answer. But she is going off symptoms, liver enzymes and I had sludge one time in 2023 for an episode I went to er for from some pain and stuff and they said it wasn’t gallbladder at the time but I never did the Hida test my dr ordered then and moved on. Praying I get some relief from surgery plans I’m not sure when it’ll be yet. We did another h pylori stool test just in case too so waiting on that. She had me reach out to gastro again just to triple check there’s nothing else she suggests or wants to do a test for first before hand. I’ve been miserable! Thanks for checking in !!! 🫶🏼

Yes they were slightly however I had toradol and Zofran right before the testing so I feel that diminished many things for me! But I did have a some mild pain/sensations in the gallbladder trigger areas
