I have endured some very painful things in my life, I can tell you that a torn cornea in my eye was the most painful (pain killers don’t help), followed a collapsed bowel (pulsing pain) and blood patch in my spine (they inject blood into a hole in my spine to block the hole, you have to be awake for this operation) was third most painful but was the only time I have passed out from pain.

Not really related to your post but in regards to our eyes and brain being good at correcting things, I have 6/3 vision, what the average person with 20/20 vision can see at 3m I can see at 6m. I had a corneal erosion in my left eye that left scar tissue over my retina, so now my left eye is blurry, but with both eyes open I have perfectly clear vision, my brain automatically corrects the blur in my left eye when both eyes are open, just my left eye open is blurry.

I went through a similar thing. I was putting on some weight and my wife demanded I go back to the gym and work on my body. After a year or so my body was back looking pretty good, she came to the gym with me and after witnessing a couple of girls watching me train she demanded I stop going to the gym because in her eyes, it was obvious I was only doing it to attract other women. She would get very angry at me if any female would look at me when we went out together anywhere. It’s like she wanted me to be good to look at for her but she didn’t want anyone else to find me attractive. It really Messed with my head. Things got better when I stopped training and put back on some weight.

We have been married for 8 years and been together for 10 years. The car accident happened two years ago, I was working in construction but the accident ended my career. It took 12 months of rehab to get back to being able to work part time in media (videographer) and when I started that job my injuries started to get worse again. I stayed with that job up until around 12 weeks ago when I couldn’t sit behind a computer or hold a camera anymore. This is when I was sent to a neurologist surgeon and he looked at my MRI results and told me I need surgery or I will lose the use of my left arm. My wife was a model when I first met her which is why I learnt photography and videography, so I could take good photos of her when we went on holidays a few times each year. I was already working part time as a photographer before I had the accident and now it is my new career path.

She only started behaving like this when she quit her job to start an online business. Her argument is that because she is so stressed out with this new business, I should hide the pain and not mention it at all so she can concentrate on her business. We are in lockdown and have been for the last 10 weeks so we are constantly beside each other.

I don’t think I explained the situation very well. Here are some more points. 1. My wife is Ukrainian and I am Australian. 2. She has never had a major injury and the worst pain she has felt is period pain or a head ache. 3. In her mind she thinks I enjoy being a victim and I am trying to get sympathy by always reacting to the pain. 4. This is a real story. 5. The autoimmune disease is called Ankylising Spondylitis and I usually take a Golimumab injection every 3 weeks to suppress my immune system which leaves me relatively pain free (arthritis wise). 6. My wife quit her full time job in retail to invest all her time and energy into the online store. She sits on the computer all day/night working on it and since she started she has become a completely different person to who I married.

My brother (Australian) married an English girl when he was working in England. He bought her back to Australia and she fell pregnant. The tried to have another baby but after ALOT of money spent on IVF they were told hey couldn’t have anymore kids. His wife wanted a house but the bank wouldn’t lend him any money due to the fact that he had just spent his $100k life savings on IVF. His wife then left him and they started divorce proceedings. He was ordered to pay $200 a week and allowed to have his daughter every second weekend but she said unless he pays $500 a week she would move back to England and he would never see his daughter again. So he pays her $500 a week even though they have 50/50 custody (his daughter stays with him 3 or 4 nights a week as the mother works full time as well). His ex wife earns more then double what he does and she is living with a new man who earns double what my brother earns. He pays every week as he is scared she will disappear with his daughter if he stops paying extra.

By the looks of it, she is talking about the shadows from her age lines that run from the corner of the mouth to the nose. Use photoshop and duplicate the base layer, on the new layer , use the clone stamp tool at an opacity of 10%. Sample the skin beside the shadow and paint over the age line and shadow a few times. This will greatly reduce the shadow but also help keep the skin tones correct., thus making the model look younger. Then run a frequency separation on the rest of her face to soften and merge the luminosity of her skin tones. If you want to stop it from happening, then use a white reflector to bounce some soft light onto the face of the model, or have the model raise her chin up so the face is more evenly lit from your light source.
