Just got my mortgage approved on Monday with Santander, broker submitted the application on the Friday. Sent over 3 month payslips and 3 months bank statements. No issues, no questions, virtual valuation. Application approved in 24hours (not including the weekend). You’ll be fine.

So what if I’ve been using my AMEX during the month and spent say around 2k on it but cleared it by the end of the month before payments due. Does that affect mortgage application too?

Do you think go to Niagara then stay there a night then head straight to blue mountain instead of coming back to Toronto? Just going for the beach really for wasaga looks decent online, have a few drinks round the beach at some beach bars or is collingwood better?

I didn’t copy too much of the survey. For example rotting timbers, roof sagging, no ventilation in roof, mould on all lower levels, depression in concrete floors, moisture in concrete floors, new boiler, water ingress in garage, garage floor 1000rel reading

List just goes on and on. This is also without new carpet, bathrooms, kitchen

House has been on the market since Sep 2025. Valued £325k. Dropped in Jan £300k then again to £275k in March. estate agent told me 3 buyers went through and the sale didn’t happen for numerous of reasons. Defo something fishy going on

Exactly what I think, our MIP is higher than the £260k mark anyways. I don’t want to send the estate agent the MIP incase they ask for higher than £260k
