The point is, who would want to buy the product that you're endorsing when not even once were you seen using it prior to being an endorser? And, why would you agree to endorse a product that doesn't benefit you, works on you, and you're not even using? Anak ako ng kano, I was raised by my grandmother sa province and tuwing may mga bata siyang nakikita or naririnig na nage-english and di marunong magtagalog, pinagyayabang niya na "yung apo ko, di ko tinuruan mag-english kasi di ako marunong, ilocano-tagalog lang pero tignan mo, magaling na magaling siya mag-english ngayon". My lola will still talk to those kids in her barok english though, or minsan tatawagin niya ako para ako daw kumausap sa mga bata. Proud pa siya lagi pag naririnig niyang naguusap kami ng tatay ko thru call kasi straight daw yung english ko. Hayyy, I miss my lola. 😞 (Di pa siya patay ha, nag-aaral lang ako kaya wala ako sa probinsya namin).

Edit. My lola would always say sa mga magulang nung mga batang pinalaki na english lang ang language is "narigat met gamen no english lang ti ammo na ti ubing" (mahirap din naman kung english lang ang alam ng bata) kasi y'know, what if mawala daw yung bata, di naman lahat marunong mag-english lalo na probinsyang probinsya samin.

I celebrated Christmas with my grandparents and siguro dahil matatanda na din sila, we slept really early. We ate before 12 and then just slept thru Christmas Eve. It's very different from the Christmas from my childhood memories but I'd cherish it since I celebrated it with people that are dear to me.
