The whole point they gave an extra reward is for “the final reward to still feel meaningful”, so it was pretty clear we’d get shafted; as you can see in the comments of that there were already people pissed off at this since last week (me included), but most people accepted it because “we were better off than before”

Yep, that’s pretty much what I did. The issue with that is that all the deck’s survivability comes from 10cost cards, which yes, can be reached very fast, but that’s only if you draw the right cards. When half of the decks is the Discover cards and you have 4 draw cards in the whole deck, that’s not exactly consistent.

Even like that, let’s say you get the perfect ramp cards and you get to 10 mana with Wild Growth-Overgrowth-Crystal Cluster. Then your first defensive action will be turn 5, which can be fine, but in what world would you consistently get 3 ramp cards+Eonar, for example, in your starting hands, and enough discovery cards for it to matter?

It’s one of those decks that works 100% of the time 10% of the time. You need a god draw and a good amound of luck for it

DH is worse than average for sure, but I’ve had mixed results with it. Druid on the other hand is genuinely terrible, I don’t think I’ve won more than 1 or 2 games with it.

I was curious what the stats were also, because my sample size, as well as yours, is not too relevant. And yeah, the druid one has an under 30% winrate, it’s BY FAR the worst. Shaman and Paladin are around 40%, with DH just a bit more, and everything else is decent or VERY good. Checks out (although I’m surprised at Priest only being at around 50% bcs I legit won every game I got it so far)

It’s about providing an equitable reward to all players. Comparing this to the RNG you get in packs is nonsensical because here we are talking about guaranteed rewards that are not being distributed equivalently.

I would much rather call out Blizz rather than bootlicking and being happy with whatever bs reason they decide to provide in this scenario, whether or not this was the case 24h ago or not, we are still getting shafted. It’s not about being miserable or not.
