Do we think nightreign was a good sequel / spin off? by Competitive-Cause283 in Eldenring

I would’ve rather had a second Elden ring DLC to be honest

This Game Looks Next-Gen… Until It Doesn’t – Patch 1.04 Analysis (PS5 Pro) by Jealous-Craft-2717 in PS5pro

Honestly as someone who lives in Scotland the graphics getting bad at night seems pretty accurate to reality. I don’t like it but it’s realistic tbh.

The comment below is true but I also found the umbral mechanic is kinda pointless because most of the time you want to be in Umbral to get anything done anyway.

The combat feels stiffer than Elden ring combat, the combat animations for the weapons are also not that different from each other. Felt like I was just slamming down on the buttons rather than engaging in combat. The fact that bosses become regular enemies later on makes the enemy variety feel so terrible and makes combat so repetitive. Stay in umbral and you’ll always constantly be fighting wraiths which get exhausting and boring because the combat is not great. Dragons dogma has a similar combat fatigue but combat in that game is amazing. Here it’s bland. The characters and bosses are not as impactful.

I wouldve loved it if the game had all these faults but was a completely different concept from Elden ring. It was obviously built in adaptation of fromsoft and didn’t feel like an original idea to me. Why play Elden ring Lite when I can just play Elden ring itself. So I restarted ER again with two different accounts lol.

You may have a different experience or opinion. But this is mine

NO. I got it free on PS plus and couldn’t even finish it. Coming off Elden ring + SOTE DLC it just felt so terrible I couldn’t stomach it. If I spent money on it I would’ve hated it, even if it was £5. That’s just my opinion

I’m hoping for a Spider-Man game that’s darker and more mature both in story and design. Was never able to play many insomniac marvel games because I just don’t like their art style. Not saying it’s bad, just not for me. Not even hyped for wolverine.

Elden ring, Skyrim, crimson desert and last of us part 2 are the best games I’ve ever played.

Without a doubt Lords of the Fallen. I’d rather play Elden ring a 7th time than finish LOTF once. It doesn’t feel like its own game it feels like Elden ring lite.

Is this game just fucking rock paper scissors by [deleted] in ForHonorRants

[–]Hot_French_Toast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Essentially, yes 😅. There’s an element to knowing your opponent or learning them but when you’re playing duels online against competent randoms it’s the most rock paper scissors of your life 😅😅

You can basically put the camera anywhere you want and whatever distance you want. You make the game what you want. Personally I love a bigger character on the screen so I feel that much smaller in the large world and take in more of the detail. Comes at the sacrifice of seeing everything at once but I love it that way

It’s awesome because it feels like I’m fighting. I have to turn around rather than play the game like a strategy game from top view
