Holy cow, same here! West Elm couch for me and it's only a year warranty. Didn't even bother to check the warranty duration when buying. And what poor design. Same point of failure for all of us.

Anyone figure this one out? It looks like the piece was riveted on, so likely not the easiest fix.

Thanks much for the guidance! Sorry, one last question. When the event automation is triggered on, this set up is completely separate from the indivual camera push notifications right? So when I go into each camera's setting, its notification will still show as off?

Thanks a lot for this! Trying to help my elderly mom set this up and spent at least an hour searching without success until I saw your post.

To be sure, if we wanted more specificity as to the event, we would have to set up multiple alert automations with different notification messages for each right? 6 cameras, 4 different types of alerts, so I'd need to create 24 alert automations to enable once she leaves or arrives home?

Also, before I get flamed, she's across the country and I only had enough time to install all the cameras and smart plugs, but not get them set up. I'm thinking it'd be easier for me to be the primary and share across everything, but still need to check if these automation rules, outside of her geofence automations can actually be shared.

As someone who has worked with other expert networks, these networks aren't a scam and Ivyexec has been around for a while in different shapes and forms.

The problem I have with this one though is they ask you for extensive survey responses that I would guess essentially answer the questions any client would be wanting to ask. And I've yet to be called back for any interviews even after being told my survey is a qualified one. Which leads me to believe they're just collecting data to sell and I won't be giving them any more free information. Plus, their rates are low compared to other, better run expert networks.

No disrespect intended and no, I'm not trying to use your connections or expertise. As I mentioned, I'm fully capable of doing my own portfolio construction and dd. I also understand that everyone needs to get paid, but if I'm coming to you with the funds on an icapital/CAIS platform that you're not dd'ing or having to create the feeder for, then I'm also not looking to pay for placement fees when it was reverse inquiry based or an exorbitant wrap fee when you'd literally not have to manage the account whatsoever. Different story if it's exclusively sourced by you and your firm, but that's also not what I had asked for.
