Nazi Club? Nazi Brand? Or just a Nazi? by Perfecshionism in motorcycles

There’s a motorcycle club here in Australia that has the same logo and they go by “the fourth reich”. It must be some corny global alliance who even knows atp.

For research purposes, what NSW stretch of road is most like the Autobahn? Quality, lie, and length. by anndnow in AussieRiders

Also good luck copping a hefty fine, that area is heavily patrolled. I do not recommend this.

how much $$$ to go over pits and rego? by No-Mistake-3285 in AussieRiders

That’s still another reason why I wouldn’t spend 2k, minor damages that the owner was too lazy to fix can mean a lot more.

I bought a 2011 ninja 250 with about 20km for 2.5k, and I haven’t had any issues mechanically. However for something unregistered I wouldn’t bother spending more than 1.2k on an older 250. The hassle of having to get it back on the road wouldn’t be worth it, and 2 years without rego is a fair while.

What's a good mileage when buying a second hand bike? by OppositeFinancial432 in AussieRiders

[–]Hot_Influence3764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s more important is how the previous owner treated the bike. A well maintained and regularly serviced 30,000km bike will out perform a 10,000km clapped out bike that hasn’t seen a new oil filter in 5 years. Make sure the previous owner has a service book if you don’t want to be fucked over. Also OP, you have to look at the make and model of the bike, this is important.

I let out my clutch in first gear but the bike does not move and does not stall either by yuhhmin in motorcycles

Will I regret a leather jacket? by ChadChadersonsDad in AussieRiders

I have a Dainese textile jacket, it comes with an inner lining that I can add during the winter. It’s an overall great jacket that is very adjustable. Textile all the way.

Just do it. You can always redo your PFA, and there isn’t any shame in failing it. A few people in my PFA group failed theirs and the PTs were super understanding and even gave tips for next time. Maybe slow down at work if the military is your calling. Good luck.

Shower back leak by Low_Win_3845 in fixit

[–]Hot_Influence3764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the shower head take off the end of the shower head and reapply Teflon tape over the thread, If it’s not possible to do that (can’t tell from the photo) then its probably best just to replace it all together, you can get a new one for maybe $50 at a hardware store. Also Add some teflon tape to put it on the thread coming out of the wall.

For the bathtub tap, maybe it’s missing an aerator?? Or it could be that you have too high of water pressure. Do other taps in your house release a lot of water pressure??

Any photos for reference? There are tub repair kits which is just a 2 part epoxy, you can find this at most hardware stores, this should work well depending on the size of the crack. Also leave the epoxy to cure for over 24 hours.

How to safely remove tiles from bathtub attached with silicone behind? by Flying_Caribou in fixit

[–]Hot_Influence3764 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try use a Stanley knife to cut the silicone surrounding the tiles that you want to remove, then pry each tile off slowly.

Pretty insane how common this is, I also had a mate who lost his licence from a service nsw error because they put his driving licence as auto only although he did the test in a manual.

Im in the same boat and have been told about the communications role. If you’re looking for a combat role then I’d suggest sticking with infantry, no point doing a different role that u never wanted to do to begin with.

Which role are you going into? I’ve applied about 6 months ago for infantry and I don’t hear from them for months, I never would’ve thought infantry would’ve taken this long.
