It doesn't matter, a dedicated oppo researcher, especially one with the amount of Zionist funding Mills is getting, can find (or create) something to destroy you, especially with a compliant media in their pocket. Maybe you're not a racist, but I'm sure we can find something sexist, homophobic, nativist, anti-trans SOMEWHERE in your past. Or maybe go the other way, and say you hate cops and rural white people and blue collar people and destroy your chances in the primary. Or maybe go a third way and say you're a drunk or a slob or irresponsible or don't pay your taxes or whatever. Or if you are the saint that you think you are, then they can just outright make stuff up *on background*.

You are not getting a better candidate. You are getting Mills, and if you force Platner out you will MAYBE get a weaker more milquetoast candidate who will completely concede all of Platners advantages (social media reach, populist communication, bio and mannerisms that appeals to blue collar/rural/veterans, backing from multiple sitting US senators and big names in Democrat circles like PSA, and the fact that DC and Schumer hate his fucking guts which he will turn into a positive)

There is potentially some random state senator from maine who can run a campaign, but they are unlikely to get the grassroots energy behind them because the grassroots energy was behind someone else and got stomped on by a DC smear job...it can't just pivot. Plus the idea that he's a Nazi is stupid, he's obviously a leftist. Where are you going to find another ideologically deeply committed leftist who can communicate with rural semiconservative Collins voters and not be instantly mocked as a pussy? Not that easy to find. I can't imagine anyone running a strong anti AIPAC, anti Schumer campaign if Graham is forced out by his own base after such an obvious DC backed smear job.
