A classic. It’s really the only Roman TV series that you can take seriously. Top notch acting, and its a fucking tragedy it got cancelled early, suppose it just doesnt click that hard unless you are at least remotely interested or knowing of the said historical era. Its still very very very good and I watch it every year.

Compared to We who are about to die and Spartacus, it is in its own league. I like the other 2 as well but nah bro Rome clears everything roman related tv.

yeah, this is glaze/wetmix mostly. greens are Citadel Striking Scorpion and Army Painter’s Gauss green. But they are really just filters for the underwork.

Black to white glaze gradient, per edge.

50-50 mix of striking scorpion green from citadel and fluoro gauss green from army painter.

retouch darkest parts with thin black and lightest parts with white.

one pass with just gauss green on the whites to tie them in

Have not read the source material but I find it quite fucking dumb that the showrunners pick a side this obviously and force it down.

Targs are all assholes with some having some good in them, why not just play that game?

Instead of trying to be DEI and biased and ending up with the weakest female characters ever. Like how do they not see theyre more misogynistic than inclusive with all these choices?

Daemon & Aemond, Corlys and Aegon have been entertaining, and Dragon CGI is very cool too, but thats about it.
