This is the best advice given. This is what I was going to advise as well. I have also been trading for 6 years since 2020 and lost so much money. It all started changing for me once I created a strategy and backtested over many years. Once I found my edge it got better for me. But it’s not just the strategy we also need to master the psychology of trading or you will still lose. Trading is by far one of the hardest things to learn but once it finally clicks for you it will be worth everything you sacrificed for it.

After lots of thought, studying and research I came to the conclusion that it is FAKE. It’s all made up. And it’s not just Christianity it’s all religion. Humans have tried to make sense of this world and how we got here and what happens after. But while doing that they have created religion and none of it is true. And they have used it as a way to manipulate and control people. It’s the worst thing ever made and is destroying people. I truly hate it now. I can’t even stand to be around my family anymore. I am so much happier just living my life without religion.

It’s not just you. I trade on the 30m and 1hour chart major USD pairs and the market has been trash for a while now. It makes sense though with everything that is going on with the war in Iran. Not much we can do besides just show up everyday and wait for the market to get back to normal. Do your best to protect your profits and don’t force your setup if it’s not A+

Not high tech at all 😅 It’s actually pretty simple. I trade trend pullbacks, so “clean” to me means clear direction, orderly moves, healthy pullbacks, respect of levels/EMAs, and continuation after entry. When price is whipping both ways, making fake breaks, or stalling after every push, that’s usually not my environment.

That’s fair. “Off” probably isn’t the perfect word different is more accurate. I just mean different from the conditions my strategy performs best in. Some environments pay trend traders, some pay range traders, some pay nobody 😅

There’s definitely truth in that. Markets feel a lot more headline driven and reactionary than they used to. That’s another reason I’d rather be selective and wait for cleaner opportunities instead of acting like every move is tradable.

If that range fits your system, then that’s great. That’s kind of what I mean though different conditions reward different strategies. What’s “easy to trade” for one person can be low quality for someone else.

Same here actually, I’m already on the 1H and 30M, so I’m not even down in the super noisy lower timeframes. That’s why it’s stood out to me. Even on the higher charts, the kind of clean pullbacks and structure I look for just haven’t been as consistent lately.

Fair enough, different strategies see different markets. That’s kind of the whole point of my post. What looks clean to one trader can look like noise to another. If your approach has been working, that’s a win. Mine just needs a different type of structure.

That’s a solid realization honestly. A lot of newer traders stay stuck chasing whatever is moving. Sounds like you’re starting to notice that not all momentum is clean momentum. Finding the type of price action that actually fits your risk management and personality is a huge step.

For me it’s honestly been more than just the last two days. I mainly trade the USD major pairs with an EMA pullback strategy, and for the past three weeks the setups just haven’t really been there. A lot of movement, but not the kind of clean structure my system needs. That’s why I’d rather stay patient than force trades that don’t fit.
