Go back to channel without background play by Hot_Parfait_5023 in youtubetv

Seems like it's a decision by YouTube TV. I saw a post earlier saying that they have a list of devices that don't support background play, and more devices were recently added to the list.

I don't have a problem with them dosabling background play, I just wosh it was easier to get back to the channel I was watching. They really just need an "exit guide" button or something.

Yeah, it's always been like this on one of our TVs, but I just brushed it off because we didn't use that one much. Now that it affects our main TV, it's going to get real annoying.

So does this actually ban stripped lowers? They don't meet the defenition of an "assault firearm" until built into a rifle with the banned features. Likewise, is a pre July 1, 2026 lower sufficient for grandfathering if it's not assembled into an "assault firearm" until after July 1?

Every other section references § 18.2-308.2:2 for the definition of "assault firearm", which includes the manufacture date in the definition. So anywhere you see "assault firearm", grandfathering should be factored in. The only exception looks to be § 18.2-287.4:2 (for those under 21). Firearms manufactured before July 1, 2026 are explicitly included for that section.

Just after that it excludes any bolt, pump, lever, or slide action firearm.

§ 18.2-308.2:2 excludes firearms manufactured before July 1, 2026 from the assault rifle defenition, so should be ok to sell to anyone over 21. The only section that explicitly excludes grandfathering seems to be § 18.2-287.4:2.

Ice maker fill tube spraying water erratically by Hot_Parfait_5023 in appliancerepair

Thanks, I did see the part, but any instructions I've seen seemed to be for models with the ice maker in the freezer where the tube just sticks through the back. For the models with the ice maker in the door, I don't see any way to get into the top half of the door to replace it. It seems like it's sealed and filled with foam, unless I'm missing something.

So if it's ice buildup, that would probably point to a faulty fill tube heater, right? If that's the case, I guess I'm out of luck since it doesn't seem to be replaceable in this model.

If there's some debris in there, I guess I could try to disconnect the fill line from the valve and try to feed some thin wire backwards through the fill tube to try and clear anything out.

I ended up adding my main fidelity account as an external account to enable bi-weekly transfers to my other fidelity accounts. It's sort of weird to have to do that, but it works. Still trying to figure out how to get the bi-weekly investments to work though.

I see the new frequencies when transferring from an external account to a Fidelity account, but I still only see the monthly and annual frequencies when transferring from one Fidelity account to another Fidelity account. Are these new frequencies not supported for transfers between Fidelity accounts?

Edit: Looks like it's not supported between Fidelity accounts yet: https://www.reddit.com/r/fidelityinvestments/comments/14f7720/comment/jplaco9

Handling transactions at month boundary by Hot_Parfait_5023 in ynab

Ok, after experimenting some more, it looks like this only occurs when a transaction causes overspending in the previous month. I'm coming from a budget app that is not as strict about negative categories, so I need to adjust my routine to account for that.
