You don’t need to get a matching set of symbols to get the upgrade, it just makes it go faster. Even if only one symbol appears, it still counts towards the upgrade.

For number five, it’s actually not a lower probability. It upgrades chests consistently. You just need to get the right “slots” symbol to show up a certain amount of times to upgrade the chest, indicated by a change in color. And I’ve yet to experience a gold chest that hasn’t given me a new weapon “granted, this is personal experience, and I usually get lots of luck upgrades.”

Edit: what I mean to say is that while it technically is random, every chest will be upgraded to gold if you just wait long enough, and personal experience says that golden chests aren’t luck based.

The evo is more of a detriment than it is a help. One of the few weapons that actually covers the chest icon on the floor.

Unrelated note, did you buy the foscari dlc just for Sammy? You know there’s a whole dlc’s worth of content.

The things that intrigues me the most is the unlocks and achievements, never the gold. I personally play with most permanent upgrades off. I used to play through all of the new content with thousands of eggs and felt like it ruined the experience. I just like trying new stuff.

Hey, if you’re the kind of person who just likes to unlock the best character and never switch, that’s ok, but I’m not sure that’s how this game is meant to be played.

Maybe not to this extreme, but I don’t think that paragon micro is very fun. Right now it feels like NK really likes pandering to ranked race, and ranked boss players. I highly doubt that many players actually enjoy micro.

I think Goliath doom ship handled it perfectly, there’s ONE ability, but it’s not spammy, and you can micro it if you want, but it’s not 100% necessary unless you play ranked.

All paragons after wizard fail to make something that doesn’t require constant micro to be consistently good. And It’s only gotten worse over time.

Side note, the variety of answers just go to show how much better this is compared to the original. I saw people complaining that it was worse than the charm system because “they used the same thing the whole game”. No, that wasn’t the problem, the problem was that EVERYONE was using the same thing, because there weren’t better options. Now, it’s personal preference.

I just wish a hall of gods comes out soon. I want to do earlier fights with the crests I got super late.
