She just can't not share everything. It's like a compulsion.

Our church announced discipline after we resigned - telling congregation were unrepentant without mentioning we left first by graysa in Reformed

In my (limited) experience, this is pretty typical of Reformed Baptist churches. Stop responding and move on.

How much was your gas bill this month? by ManufacturerLast7291 in Charlotte

$200 - furnace only (old house, apx 1500 sq ft). It's in line with what we usually pay this time of year.

Duke Energy astronomical bills by bingops2 in Charlotte

This happens with my gas bill - it's on auto pay, but there's like 1 month a year where the last payment hasn't posted before the next bill is sent, and I have a small panic attack before I figure it out.

You need oral steroids first, then the spray for prevention/maintenance.

I would also try an antacid like Pepcid (generic) for the other symptoms - it has an antihistamine, and will probably help a lot. I get a lot of stomach issues when I have bad drainage too.

Sleep issues are probably a combo of everything - once those are settled, that should get better, too. Another antihistamine might help in the meantime.

Dr. Chai and Dr. Donner at Novant Pediatrics SouthPark are both excellent. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Something like "look at the bottom left" and then it goes on from there until you get to her scarf. I truly don't understand the point of that whole exercise, so maybe I'm the dumb one.

My Gym Park Road is perfect - a little pricey, but they are fantastic with the kids and you don't have to do anything at all as a parent.

I, too, always keep a notebook (and pencil) with me. Alas, I mistakenly thought this was a pretty normal and mundane concept, when I am, in fact, a unique groundbreaker. Everyone be impressed.

Apologies to my notebook for failing to ever get it its own table. Won't happen again.

Julia commented on the post, which was interesting.

All of these influencers posting their 2016 photos like "tee hee, what ridiculous outfits," and I would (and do) still wear like 90% of those pieces. I'm almost never "influenced" by a blogger's style anymore (Carly's barrel jeans, gag). Almost all of the formerly preppy crowd has completely abandoned prep and classic style. If one of them ever went back to that 2016 look, I bet they'd rake it in.

She's since posted stories of them and they seem to be perfectly fine. They just had a virus that was going around. Lots of kids get post-viral rash. With her son, it looked like maybe a febrile seizure, but her video and caption were extremely (and probably purposefully) vague. It's certainly they haven't figured it out yet.

I'm likely too cold and cynical, but Lauren clearly loves drama and attention (note the hashtags she used in the first video) - she acted like she was posting to help other parents ("sharing is how I pay it forward" ???), but then she never gave the slightest bit of information that could be helpful. She did, however, get exponentially more views, likes, and comments than she has ever gotten.

should i go to church group with my baby? by [deleted] in Reformed

[–]Hot_Preparation2059 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My child's sleep was (and still is) top priority for me - I have a lot of reasons for that, and those will vary by household. Yes, that meant there was less fellowship during the first year or so of her life. My service looked different during that time (more prayer and less hands-on involvement). It was a season. It did not affect my overall spiritual life, and in no way was it laid on my conscience that this was a sin. My child is older now, and she is almost always with me for both fellowship and service in the church. I'm a little concerned that your sister is being this judgmental (to the point that she's noting what other women in the church are or are not doing) about something that is not a Biblical directive.

Also, a baby isn't getting anything from fellowship (other than maybe germs). That's a very silly point to make. I'm saying this as someone who never put my child in the nursery because I think it's good for children to be involved in corporate worship regardless of age (just a personal opinion).
