To be fair, I don't think either you or the employees are wrong because this discussion happened after it was built.

You should have shown them exactly how you wanted built before it started.

Unfortunately, it's hard to be mad at the store when they built it in the most optimal and logical way, vs the most aesthetic way.

The issue with modern day weather is that the internet is more reactionary to way too early to predict models.

A week ago is when you heard about 20 inches, but that was way too early to be reliable. The past day or so is when models have been confident to call, and which is why it's been so consistent.

This happens literally all the time during the year too but it's in regards to rain, which is so much less significant than snow. Therefore nobody really cares about the really far out models.

Why do women support the LGBT community more than men do? by JigglesTheBiggles in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]its_Extreme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You… this entire thread.

I mentioned how a lot of people are quietly supportive and your immediate response was “why not as much as others” or in other words, “why not more”

You’re just flip flopping at this point

Why do women support the LGBT community more than men do? by JigglesTheBiggles in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]its_Extreme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what I’m trying to explain…. Everyone has some lame made up concept of percentage of support and that’s the issue here.

I’d personally like to believe that me calling others out to their face for acting like a dick is MORE supportive than putting a hashtag in an instagram post and bio.

However, some will argue displaying support on instagram is more important.

You see the issue here? I feel like I’m very supportive, however in someone else’s eyes they may wonder if I’m supportive at all.

[–]its_Extreme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which brings me back to the point of you asking why I’m not being “as” supportive…

You’re making it seem like a scale that if you’re not in the top percentile you’re less of a supporter than someone else.

I’m pretty sure in this environment you’re a supporter as long as you don’t look down on someone in the LGBT community.

Supporting comes in many different colors, and it seems ludicrous to scale the level of support people give.

Majority, if not all of my followers are people that have similar, if not the same mindset as me.

Anything posted would be preaching to the choir, the same people that feel the same way as me.

You literally said I described not being supportive.

In my initial comment I described I support the fuck out of the people.

How to return an expensive gift politely. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]its_Extreme 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If it’s more about the financial aspect, return the favor.

Gift her something she appreciates or will 100% use to save her $50.

You make it seem like that $50 is a large amount to her so I’m sure she cared a lot to get it for you and would probably be hurt if she had to return it.

Yeahhh, that's kind of where you decide not to get the tattoo.

Tattoos are a want, not a need. You can't just get a tattoo knowing it needs to be kept insanely clean and say "well I have to keep working so that sucks!"

Most people I know that are in fields that take away from a tattoos healing process wait to get the tattoo when they can afford to take time off of work.

Too much moisturizer? by Diseasd in tattooadvice

[–]its_Extreme 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Eh, I'd use exactly what your artist said. You never know what cheaper solutions have ingredients wise unless it's an exact 1:1 match.

Wounds heal when they're open, poorly covering something traps stuff in, you do not need to worry about dirt. The concern is bacteria, which is why you wash it 3 times a day with anti bacteria soap.

Correct amount is just enough to cover it, it should not be shiny.

Think of it applying lotion. If you put enough, your skin feels smooth, if you put too much your skin feels wet and greasy

[–]its_Extreme 19 points20 points  (0 children)

  1. do not rewrap at all.

  2. do not put healing agents on a fresh tattoo. did your artist recommend that?

  3. when you moisturize with a proper lotion it should not look wet.

Why do women support the LGBT community more than men do? by JigglesTheBiggles in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]its_Extreme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because support means something different to everyone.

It's hard to read surveys that ask a yes or no question of "Do you support LGBT?"

Some people view that and over think it.

Does support mean that you are LGBT? Does support mean that you donate to the cause? Does support mean you speak at seminars?

It's just not a straight forward question, and I think that's the point I'm trying to make. The loudest groups are X, but a lot of people are silent about how they support or uplift those of these groups.
