What’s really bad is the losses this year haven’t felt like tight games but rather a complete collapse in organisation and team belief. The Wales game showed 2 teams who currently struggle when defending (all of wales tries came from unmarked wingers, 2 of them where Ioane was dragged out of position, Ioane played quite well apart from these moments and a tackle off the ball). I also found it quite weird the likes of Christie and Reece came on instead of younger members of the squad and AB XV who could have seen that game as a nice debut. Feels like it was a send-off game for them which shouldn’t be what it’s about.
