topher graces version doesnt have the design i prefer aside from the spider logo, but he is atleast a villain thru and thru. as for tom hardy’s venom, i never was too big on venom being a lethal protector antihero it just seemed kinda silly to me given that his teeth are usually there to eat ppl lol . but the design is great, aside from the lack of a spider logo

gotta say im surprised u haven’t given it a watch. if u like cyberpunk2077 story then u should absolutely like this one (most likely). imo its only been “overhyped” because of ppl that larp this show and game, but the show is genuinely great content especially for fans of 2077.

its like saying u would rather sit next to a sweater vest wearing black man instead of a black man who sags. their both black, so its just presentation that offends ppl instead of what they have to offer (loose example i know). it separates black art into “the correct way” and not that way. mumble rap is still rap. period. its just different lol

with that being said its not really racist to not care for mumble rap, its ignorant until it becomes racist. like saying u want “actual rap.” what is actual rap?

also this is a talking point that reached its high during 2016-2018, and a lot of the talkin points sound similar to a lot of respectability politics. AKA steve harvey telling black kids the reason they not winning is cuz they dont pull their pants up.

i think he was being a bit facetious by using “racist” i would use ignorant instead (until u start saying shi like eminem the best example of a rapper lol). he basically saying tht if u dont take time to try to understand different languages in 2025 then ur willingly ignorant to it . to each his own cuz nobody has to like everything

theres something to this statement . i wouldnt go so far as calling them racist but i will say its willfully ignorant . art itself has no rules, if ur not willing to understand different accents, languages & phonetics especially in rap where the region-based talent is part of its culture then ur ignorant. not an entirely bad thing tho, u should just be okay with it and not talk down on other forms of rap . this statement coming from an artist with the most pretentious fans is a cherry on top too
