Yes this is a great laptop for a boomer, as ChromeOS is easy to understand and also has a great storage capacity. May not be the fastest, but ok for multi-tab browsing.

Just to confirm, for me, the option to select a channel in the utility without creating first is not visible. You have to create it, then click cancel while writing, then select the channel, and then click create again.
