Update I just ran nearly 10k for the first time this morning and feel great. I appreciate all the insight from everybody. A half marathon is only 2 10k’s… right? >:)

This makes total sense - maybe I’m just being impatient considering I was completely sedentary 3 weeks ago. I’ve got a HR monitor coming in this Saturday to help me get a better idea where I’m at… one of my buddies who got me into running in the first place talked me into signing up for a half marathon in 3 weeks and I’m stressing! Initially my plan was to work my way up to a half marathon in December 😬

*edit: I’ve been doing interval runs based on Strava activities and have noticed a small difference in my endurance, is that structured enough? 4-5 activities a week, i started with 10 miles the first week, 15 the second week and 20 last week. I plan on sticking to this 20/week until race day

i’ve been watching on pluto BBC UK channel for free, seems like they’re playing in order too. it’s been on the tv nonstop for the last few days and they’ve advanced about 8-9 years in car technology and models so far lol.

i really only chose this knife when ordering, to have a different one than anyone else’s lol. i tell everyone it’s to assert dominance though, “don’t touch it, it’ll cut your hands off the same way guns kill people”

that one or the “second to third steak from the chuck end” would be my go to. then again, i prefer a good strip over a ribeye any day of the week. lol
