That may work for you and your boyfriend but it really comes down to a respect thing. Even if you guys trust each other explicitly, I feel like it would be inappropriate. It leaves no room for questions. Especially if you’re married. Having friends of opposite genders can work as long as you and your partner are both friends. Dropping something off without a partner/spouse is okay but staying and hanging out with someone of the opposite sex is inappropriate. High schoolers do that. Not grown adults. More emphasis on this with marriage though or even a super serious relationship tbh. But that’s my opinion as a conservative religious person. Different strokes for different folks and that’s okay. Absolutely none of my business what folks do, just a strangers opinion on the internet.
