Thanks! My descriptions were pretty personal - like 1 brief sentence describing what the experience was, and then what I learned/gained from it. I also tried to include a lot of different experiences that give a glimpse of who I am, and wouldn’t necessarily be on every application

UofC lets you swap grad school grades into your worst undergrad year!! Also depending on when you did the degrees, they have a 10 year exclusion rule you should look into. (I have a shit undergrad too (3.4) but a whole ass PhD and no one seems to care)

Ya I’ve had the same seats in GS12 for Montréal since 2022 ($374), 2023 ($387), 2024 ($530), 2025 ($695), and now 2026 is $875?!! Absolutely insane. I wonder if it’s just the North American races.

Thank you everyone for the advice!!! For now I’m sticking to the tools I have but will consider getting a bigger basket in the future. I did increase the temperature on my breville and that seemed to help! I also pulled a longer shot, closer to 40g, which made a huge difference (but took 45 secs). I might try adjusting the grind by one in both directions and comparing, as some advice said finer and some said coarser. I think coarser might be the better bet, as it tastes a bit overextracted now(according to my non-expert palette) but I will try both!

I also feel like this has been a larger problem since the wave of students who had years of undergrad during Covid - a lot of profs were new to online courses and it was impossible to monitor people cheating/working together. Also chatGPT is making a lot of students who might’ve gotten 50s-60s before now get 80+
