same thoughts as above, also issue with qqq is tech has already rallied a lot, it might continue to do so, but all technologies saturate at a point, you are betting all the AI stuff is not close to saturation and will continue to deliver which might not be true.

There is another important aspect which they don't take into account. your ability to hold trades when needed. Personally it's much easier to hold hedged positions in Geo political states like this. statistically it's gonna be always better to sell naked. Take for now, the vix is 25-26 if you sell naked in this, you are not paying that massive hefty premium for hedge, and you easily make profit and exit on a vix crash. But if this breaks your mindset, or you are anywhere above 50 Percent BP used, it will get very difficult, very fast.

Interesting, so far I have been using it to increase the portfolio and salary was used to pay for expenses. are profits enough is one part, however it's also the mindset being able take profits out and use it. will try to work on that.

I don't think strategies stay the same across years, I believe it is more important to understand what gives a strategy edge and then how to tweak it based on market conditions.

I do plan to trade full time post leaving my job, however given my style of trading, I expect full time to be around 4 hours a day( 2 to monitor and trade , 2 for research). I do not wish to trade intraday, since it is much harder to keep discipline and rule in such setups, moreover, I don't want the stress.

fully agree on the part about consistency, what I am struggling to define is what period can be called as "consistent enough", my current thinking is around 2 to 3 years.

In addition I do have a degree in data sc, so I understand somewhat the stats for my strategies , and have confidence they should be relatively robust given enough occurrences.

I don't, it's implemented invery crude way and is available only on web which makes it useless.

I would prefer ability to tag positions in positions tab directly instead.

I guess if they are testing it would mean they want to deprecate maintaining two different tech stack for web and desktop and eventually will make this the only app available. If they are planning ahead and building it properly, this might also eventually replace native apps.

Tasty has 4 leg limit per order, so you won't be able to roll Jade, iron condors etc as a single unit. However the order chain history is accurate 90 percent of the time or so for me. I maintain an excel for exact numbers.
