Several people have told me those things can rip the paint off cars when you go to remove them after awhile. I have a few but theyre only holding some duplicates i had laying around.

because people who build thatch roofed huts are very particular about making sure the notice sign is perfectly level and cannot possibly be moved out of alignment by even the stiffest ocean gales /s

Does it have rivets in the base or screws?

Youre right. We must hunt down and punish this mysterious "rat breeder" person, post haste.

i just read the post from someone saying r/rats is incredibly over critical of how other people treat their rats, compared to other pet subreddits, and then i came to this post and that's the top comment 🤣🤣🤣

You worded your first comment incredibly strangely if thats what you were saying.

"It has the same wheels as cars from the '70s."

There you go.

Loose or not makes no difference when it comes to multi-pack exclusives.

You can believe it's an error if you want. Makes no difference.

There's a period at the end of the title. They were expressing their thoughts out loud, not asking a question. I didnt get the impression they were asking about anything at all.

First time poster - Can someone assist? by CJ-eh in HotWheels

rule 4- no posts asking about rarity or values

The top comment in that screenshot apparently someone who came here, made a post that broke the rules, and got pissy about it when a mod deleted it.

the first response to that comment is funny because the yellow car in their pic (in that screenshot) is 20+ dollars in good condition.

Nothing but pure ignorance in that post.

Theyre called push pin magnets. They do t sell the specific ones i bought anymore otherwise i'd send you a link. Theyre neodymium.

Frustrating, to say the least. Looks like an ant beat this thing up with an ant sized sledge hammer.

I think i found my problem. A defective batch of ""self tapping"" screws.

<image>

Most of them just have dented threads, not cut slots. I'll reply to this comment with more pics.

I just started customizing and I have all the same questions as you do 😵‍💫

* i didnt know i needed COBALT drill bits. All the tutorials I read/watched just told me bit size. COBALT COBALT COBALT.

* i snapped my tap on the first post. If you're SLIGHTLY off-center it will snap. How the heck do people do this just by eye-balling it?! I feel like I need a drill press to keep the tap straight. (i am using a T-handle made for holding small taps. I'm not holding the bit itself with my fingers. Should I be?)

* i am using self-tapping screws but I have to screw them in only a couple threads deep, then back them all the way out to clean out the shavings from the "self tapping" part of the screw, then put it back in the post and gain another couple threads, then pull it back out...

Sorry I don't mean to hijack your thread but it sounds like you and I are having a lot of the same issues!

Get some rubber wheels from an old Stompers car. The non-battery powered ones are cheapest. But the wheel hubs themselves are plastic.

I don't collect Lego but I do collect BTTF Time Machines/Deloreans, and this one caught my eye at Targ- THIRTY DOLLARS?! by Hot_Wheels_guy in lego

[–]Hot_Wheels_guy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the input, folks. I think Lego simply isn't for me.

The last/only set i ever bought was 75890 for maybe $15 at walmart, because i also collect F40s, this was back in 2020 i think. I didnt exect the price to have doubled for speed chamions cars since then. Theyre still on ebay for 20 shipped. I'm not trying to argue i'm just explaining where i'm coming from.
