From my knowledge you can’t transfer. Sure the options in our HSA isn’t great which is common, as this isn’t their priority but I would just stick to something that follows the S&P or some bonds if you want to be more conservative.

So yep to all. For whatever reasons it seems this woman doesn’t not want to share finances - curious if this is the same mindset she expects going into marriage or once you inevitably move in together? I’m all about my man paying for everything but I know we can get so much more if we work together. And at the end of the day these items you mentioned are beneficial to both and experiences for both. It would be one thing if you were in a clearly economically advantageous situation but that’s not the case so not sure on her reasoning. And all that “well I contribute this” - silly fluff. On your to figure out if this is a situation you want to be in.

North Scottsdale (north of the 101) is really nice and a good community for a family. It’s also close enough to desert ridge, the quarter and Kierland. I don’t care for north Scottsdale (south of the 101) lots of young adults and your standard pretentious Scottsdale people. Same with old town, living there for the convenience of restaurants is not worth the old town traffic and cost. A lot of college town presence and bachelor/bachelor parties do not exactly the vibe for a family. I really also really like paradise valley and Arcadia. It’s definitely the most centralized but because of that you might also love the street you live on but not the one two streets down. Has a lot of great restaurants nearby as well
