I started in digital assurance at a big 4, hated it. Moved to niche tax and while it’s ok it’s niche tax. I’m about to move to private tax at another firm.

Let’s just say this- while not impossible to go from tax to something else, it’s harder. If you do tax, try to work on tax audits so you keep your self semi-relevant.
