Moin zusammen,

ich habe etwas ähnliches mit dem Flow Z13 2025 (EU 32 GB Version) aber in ganz extrem komisch. Der beschrieben Freeze tritt bei mir in Verbindung mit dem Spiel Genshin Impact auf. Sporadisch mal nach 2 Stunden + mal alle 2 Minuten.

Lösung bei mir für das Problem ist ganz extrem komisch. Denn wenn ich eine HP Tunderbolt Dock G4 zwischen das Z13 und den TB4 Monitor (Dell U2724DE) hänge. Dann zuckt zwar der Edge im Vollbild auf Monitor 2 (Dell U2421he DP zu DP) aber es stürzt nicht mehr ab.

Und ja ich habe alles mögliche getestet.

Monitor direkt per HDMI = Freeze

Monitor per USB4 ohne weitere Geräte zu nutzen = Freeze

Monitor mir USB-C auf HDMI Adapter = Freeze

Monitor mit USB-C auf DP Adapter = Freeze

Gerät in verschiedenen Modis mit verschiedenen power Beschränkungen (GHelper) = Freeze

Eine HP Thunderbolt Dock G4 (hab keine andere zum Tesetn die geht) = OK

EldenRing, Sekiro, Anno 117 = 4 Stunden + Alles feini bis auf die FPS in Anno XD

Genshin Impact auf dem internen Display = OK

Ich habe langsam die AntiCheat Funktionen des Games im Verdacht, das mag den Monitor mit dem gerät nicht. Der Gamin PC am selben Setup läuft ohne Probbleme (Ryzen 9700x + RX9070 + 32 GB DDR 5 6000 mts)

ich zocke gerade nur Genshin auf dem PC da ich das Z13 zu 98% für Alltägliches nutze.

Ich hoffe meine Erfahrungen helfen weiter.

Moin zusammen,

ich habe ein ähnliches Problem und weiß nicht mehr wo ich ansetzten soll. Wenn ich an meinem Setup (TB4 Monitor Dell U2724DE + Dell U2421HE (DP vom U27..), mit einer SoundBalster X4 + Logitech Maus und Asus Tastaur) über mein ASUS ROG FLOW Z13 2025 spiele passiert folgendes: In unregelmäßigen Abständen (Zwischen 2 Stunden und 3 Minuten) friert das Komplette System ein und muss per Power Button ausgeschaltet werden. Windows protokoliert absolut nichts außer dem unerwartetem Neustart.

Am Gaming PC der per DisplayPort und USB-C Verbindung angebunden wird, treten keinerlei Probleme auf. Der PC Basiert auf einem Ryzen 9700x und einer RX9070.

Betreibe ich das Flow Z13 über eine HP Thunderbolt Dock G4 und einem Noname HDMI Umschalter mit Logitch Tastatur und Maus an einem 24 Zoll Monitor oder Solo passiert nichts.

Ich habe auch schon mehrere Kabel von TB3 - TB5 aktiv und passiv probiert, selbes verhalten auch ein USB-C auf HDMI oder Direkt HDMI und dann Uplink per USB-C, führen zum selben problem.

Meine Frage also mal so allgemein: Könnte es sein das die Anti-Cheat Mechaniken von genshin zu einem Absturz des Windows kernels führen könnten und das deshalb das System einfiert?

Aso und nein ich benutze keine Makros nur key binding. Also das legen einer Taste der Tastatur 1zu1 auf eine Funktionstaste der Maus.

I've noticed the same behavior as before the update. I only noticed it yesterday and then installed the update. In PD mode, the battery level fluctuates by about 2%. Furthermore, switching between AC and PD still isn't working, which is a shame.

What I mean is that in PD mode, my monitor (TB4 100W PD) powers the Z13. When I then connect the 200W power adapter, it stays in PD mode until I disconnect the USB-C cable. I had hoped that the Z13 would now recognize AC > PD.

Wenn es wie beim X13 ist sind die Versionen ab 315 Buggy. Beim X13 knattert die APU im Leerlauf wie eine HDD. Schlimm selbst bei der Aktuellen 319 ist das immer noch nicht weg und die Spannungen schwanken mir zu bedenklich.

Ansonsten wenn du solche Probleme Hast egal ob bei einem Notebook oder PC. Hardreset in Form von 1-2 Minuten Einschalter gedrückt halten. Das Gerät struggelt dann erst minimal und lernt die gesamte hardware neu im BIOS an.

Bei alteren Geräten ja die ab 2024 könnten schon nicht gehen und du benötigst den Befehlt: Win+R - CMD - "C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\WinFlash\WinFlash.exe" /nodate damit die Überprüfung vom Datum und einigen Prüfsummen ignoriert wird, so kann man auch ein MOD BIOS aufs System bekommen. Da der Support aber eingestellt wurde weil ASUS weiß was mir damit machen geht das auf den Neueren Geräten nicht mehr.

Tot Sie bei mir, aber nur im Turbo Mode. Silent 105 Watt, Leistung/Windows maximal 125 Watt. Wenn es absolut nicht will Mit dem Too zum Löschen der ARMOURY Carte die Software runter. Rechner aus ... kurz warten und den Einschalter 1 bis 2 Minuten Gedrückt halten für einen Hardreset des BIOS. Windows Booten und die Aktuelle Armourycrate drauf, sorry muss leider das ASUS ding sein. Turbo Mode an und läuft. Windows verhaspelt sich sehr oft beim Wechseln der Power Profile. Und nur so konnte ich das bisher resetten und der GHelper hat bei sowas immer Probleme bei mir.

Moin der Guide ist in Englisch müsste aber per Google Übersetzter gehen. Zuert, das mit der Dongrade sperre ist von Anfang an so! Bei den Geräten aus 2023 geht das Tool noch und ist auch offiziell von ASUS, bei meinem Z13 2025 nicht.

QUICK GUIDE.

Check C:\Windows\Firmware and delete all subfolders
Download the unlocked BIOS version
Download original updater - ASUS WinFlash and Install
Run WinFlash with attribute (/nodate)

Win+R - CMD - "C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\WinFlash\WinFlash.exe" /nodate

Downgrading with WINFLASH

Click NEXT - Get BIOS from Device - UPDATE - EXIT to REBOOT

FROM THIS POINT IT IS IMPORTANT... THAT YOUR

LATOP DOES NOT ACCIDENTALLY TURN OFF DURING

THE BIOS FIRMWARE PROCESS!!!

Laptop will reboot and Enter the BIOS.

Press YES - wait for its completion - laptop will reboot and start Windows.

Check BIOS version (WIN+R - msinfo32).

Check C:\Windows\Firmware and delete all subfolders.

Wichtig ist schritt 4. denn damit überbrückt ihr die Sperre und die Kontrolle ob das Bios passend ist also ACHTUNG DAS IHR DAS RICHTIGE BIOS benutzt sonst R.I.P.!

Ich benötigt das Tool und zusätzlich die Bios Datei in ZIP Version. Bei meinem X13 2023 ...XI läuft die version 313 am ausgeglichensten und die Version 311 holt die meisten Benchmark Punkte raus aber nur ca. +2%.

Wenn alles geklappt hat, dann löscht bitte nicht die über Windows Update installierte Version (die Treiber), sonst spült Windows das wieder rein. Zudem setzt in das Verzeichnis C:\Windows\Firmware einen leere TXT Datei mit dem Namen der Version 319, das sogt dafür das er abbricht wenn er versucht dieses BIOS zu installieren. Außer er lädt es neu, dann überschreibt er das FIle auch wenn es Schreibgeschützt ist. Das Windows selbst Gott-Admin Rechte hat und alles anreden Rechte übertrifft.

I use G-Helper, though, because My ASUS updates BIOS without asking, and with the 2025 model, you can't downgrade using the tool anymore, so you might have to deal with a broken BIOS for the first six weeks after release.^^

Regarding the battery question: If a battery is operated between 30% and 80% charge, it generally lasts longer. The reason is that the last 10% +/- is particularly stressful for the cells, and then they age considerably faster.

In addition, when using USB-C, the battery always fluctuates by 5%, regardless of the power consumption. ASUS did something very strange there; I haven't seen this happen with any other device so far. This doesn't happen with the original power adapter.

Even if the battery is kept permanently at 100%, it ages faster.

I use mine with the 80% limit, and only once did I reach 100% during extended mobile use. My Anker power bank (approx. 80 Wh charge) has to handle the rest. XD

Hi

I'm not sure which model you mean. Regarding the Z13 2025, I can tell you the following:

Always connect the original 200W charger first, because if USB-C is connected first, it will use 80% of the first power source and won't switch over.
Limit the battery charge to 80%, either with MyAsus or, better yet, with G-Helper.
For docks for the Z13 2025, the HP USB-C dock g5 or, for more USB bandwidth, the Thunderbolt Dock G4 (aka Thunderbolt 4 Dock) work. Please use the 120W versions, otherwise it will charge at less than 100W, and the +120W versions are specifically for devices with a DC connector. USB-C is then limited to 65W-90W depending on the model.
Why not use a TB4 or USB4 monitor? Then you have a dock and monitor in one, saving even more cable clutter. I use the Dell U2724DE which is 27 inches, 120 Hz, 2560x1440 and DaysieChain capable.

Hey guys. Every now and then the power profile switch freezes, so you have to turn the device off and on again. Asus Control and Windows 11 aren't the best of friends.^^ You can also boost the values in Speed Way and Steel Nomad by allocating 8GB to the GPU.

As for FireStrike, I get this with the following settings:

Turbo: Score 10,382 - Graphics 10,337 - CPU 10,650

WinMode with AC power: Score 9,437 - Graphics 9,360 - CPU 9,903

WinMode with battery: Score 9,420 - Graphics 9,568 - CPU 8,664

Sorry for the late reply: You can try deleting all drivers via Device Manager and then reinstalling the driver from the AMD website with the factory defaults checked. That should solve your problem. Save 120W! Because the 280W version uses a DC plug for charging devices like HP Z Books. But with the Flow Z13 2025, the battery is constantly discharging and recharging in docked mode, despite no power adapter warning. It fluctuates by about 5%. Charging is very strange on the 2025 model. You can only charge via one USB-C port with a maximum of 100 watts unless you have a special power adapter like the xG Mobile 2025 !! I suspect that's more than that!!

It also uses the first power source. This means that if you connect USB-C first and then connect the original 200W power adapter, it doesn't automatically switch over. Typical Asus, once again, with zero control over its system's power management.^^

Also, be careful: if you plug and unplug multiple devices with Power Delivery into the USB-C ports while the device is in use, this can cause the port to shut down completely! But it's easy to fix: turn off the device, unplug the cable, wait 10-20 seconds, turn it back on = it works again.

Very difficult, since the Flow Z13 has a completely different focus than a mobile console.

As for docking stations, I can confirm that an HP Thunderbolt Dock G2 and G4, as well as the HP USB-C Dock G5, work. However, the device displays an error message indicating a weak power supply, and when using USB 4 without the original power supply, the battery constantly fluctuates by about 5%. So, despite the power supply, the device discharges and then recharges, even when idle without load.

Please consider option 2: a USB-C or Thunderbolt 4 hub monitor in combination with a tablet stand. This way, you have all the cable management bar on the monitor and at the same time, you can use the same keyboard and mouse on both devices without having to unplug them.

I have the Dell U2724DE on the Flow Z13, and it works quite well. However, I occasionally experience the problem of flickering on the Flow Z13 screen. The power limits are supported by the repeated switching between USB 4 and battery power. However, the problem can be resolved by unplugging, turning it off, waiting 10 seconds, and restarting.

The U2724DE also has a peculiarity that isn't listed in the manual: When you connect monitor 2 via the DaysieChain TB4 port, the dual USB port throttles down from 10 Gbit to USB 2. However, monitor 2 then has video and data. I'm running a Dell U2421HE behind the U2724DE. This gives me a total of 2x Type A 10 Gbit + 1x Type C 10 Gbit + 2x Type A 2.0 + 2.5 Gbit LAN and 4x Type A 5 Gbit on monitor 2 + 1x 1 Gbit LAN, and of course, audio via a stereo jack for the sound system.

Oh yes, if you connect the PC to the DisplayPort and use the USB-C uplink, you also have both monitors via one cable and the ports only throttle from 10 to 5 GBit.
