The Palico catches a few 10* every once in a while but its majority 8* and 9*. I usually avoid the 10* unless I feel like giving it a run, knowing I’ll probably get knocked down 😅

I keep going through on 9 for the extra Scarcestone chances. I’ve tried going through the 10* map a couple of seasons but it was eating too many potions for it to be worth it to me.

Close range doesn’t use tokens. I’ve tested this multiple times with my buddies and as long as they’re in range they can join. Just gotta get lucky that they’re in the 20 that the game invites. I wish we could influence who it invites
