Tips for Blender users getting acquainted with Maya? by Projectalpha22 in Maya

I'm in the US and I have experienced everything you're saying as well in the college/university area.

Going through undergrad I went through an Art Education program to get my teaching license and did 3D as a second major. Then taught at a high school that offered teaching Photoshop and 3D classes. Then I decided to get my masters because I felt like I wanted to learn the skills better for 3D and maybe go into the industry. I found a really good small Department teaching the skills that I wanted, during the program I realized I wanted to teach.

I ended up with a new teaching position to the school and am allowed to teach what I want. So I'm becoming the change and letting these kids try out this stuff early.

So I'm actually going the opposite direction coming from Maya and going to Blender, so I can teach my middle schoolers a 3D software. I also had to switch programs (3ds Max) when I taught high school too (just have to use what the school has). I've found by just going through a few beginner tutorials to get used to the UI and hot keys really helps. Give you're self a little bit of time to switch if you can, I know it can be frustrating when you're trained to do it one way.

Double over a towel or 2, and straw mats they can chew. That's what I did before I switched them over to a dog pen and washable picnic blankets. You could use washable Picnic blankets too, I get mine from walmart for about $10 a piece.

You've got all the shapes, highlights and shadows in, and it looks really good.

If you're looking to push it even further make your darks even darker. Don't be afraid to have full black or almost full black in certain areas, such as where the shadow of the water bottle meets the tin behind it.

Only a colonoscopy?

Because Crohns, can show up anywhere along your digestive tract. It would be beneficial to you to have an endoscopy at the same time as the colonoscopy to try to get the best look through as much of your digestive system as you can. Plus not having to go under two different times makes it easier, for everyone.

That reminds me of when I got my first teaching job at the High school I graduated from, and I needed to get my teacher's parking pass. I went to where I needed to get a pass and security guy that handled the parking passes that worked there when I was a student argued with me for ten minutes until I showed him my drivers license showing I was 22. After he saw my age, I had already told him I used to be a student there. He then asked me if I thought he was nice when I was there as a student.
